we choose this hotel strictly because of it's location. 3rd time staying in Florence and this time we decided to stay very close to Duomo as we figure that's where we'll be most of the time. The location was a good 8-10 minute walk from the train station (with luggages was a little difficult for my friends, but manageable). the...

I barely slept at this hotel all night. It was SOOO LOUD outside our window: people talking, cars revving their engines and playing loud music. The room was small and it was only $50, but I would not stay here again. The shared bathroom also didn't even have a real shower. There was drain in the floor and a curtain...

The location is brilliant, just turn right out of the hotel, stay on the street and you are right at the Duomo within 5mins. Easy walking distance to the rest of Florence's main attractions as well and just under 10mins walk to the train station. You will be spoilt for choice with the amount of restaurants in central Florence. My...

This hotel was in a brilliant location to visit all the sites, being about 5 minutes from the Duomo. The room was large and spacious and we had a private bathroom on the outside of the room. The hotel staff were very helpful giving us hints on places to eat and directions to places. We didn't initially opt in for...

It looks like something from a horror movie from the outside but the rooms are really nice. Comfortable bed and a good bathroom and it is very spacious. It can get quite loud though, but I imagine most hotels in Florence centre would be as it has a lot of tourists and quite a busy nightlife. The cleaners really went...

Good location for all the sights, station and bus routes. Lots of good restaurants nearby. A bit noisy, but this is a city centre! Room was OK but aircon totally did not work. Lifts very small but at least there were lifts. Breakfast was not bad, but disappointing for the price we paid.

We stayed here for 4 nights in May. Pluses: 1) Great location in the old town, very near the Duomo 2) Free buffet breakfast (but just cereals and breads, plus yogurt) 3) Free wifi 4) Modern plumbing fixtures 5) Secure (gated and locked entrance) Minuses: 1) Wifi is weak and awful. On the 2nd floor, we barely got a signal...
