We had the best stay here! Amazing hospitality, incredible Duomo views and a lovely, large room. Great value!

Location is right next to the Duomo and in fact my room window opened out to the view of the Duomo right smack in my face. More importantly, Ludovico (Ludo), the owner and also staff who mans the place most of the time, is extreme knowledgeable about Florence and had given me great recommendations on places the locals go to...

This place is so cute and charming, definitely not your average chain hotel. The location is the best - walkable to the train station and we could see the Duomo from our window. It is a little noisy outside, being in a touristy area, but we had a fan that kept us cool and drowned out the noise. The staff...

The biggest asset for this hotel are the owners, in my opinion. We arrived a bit late due to train delays and found them waiting for us when we did finally arrive. We had no problem finding the place, there is a sign outside the hotel entrance with the hotel name, and once we were inside, there is a sign...

We spent 5 Nights to this one star Hotel. Amazing location, the service was perfect, i felt like been to a 5 star Hotel. All the staff were very very nice, all kind and helpfull on anything. They Served for us the entrance to the Museums just with a phone call and we skept the entire line to enter. The...

The location of the hotel can only be described as excellent, - in relation to all the big tourist attractions, the longest we had to walk was 20 minutes and that was to the Uffizi Museum. However, its closeness to the Duomo square can also cause problems. Due to the temperature of the room (which was very warm and only...

My husband and I stayed at Hotel San Giovanni for 4 nights in March of 2010. The room was roomy and comfortable. The bathrooms and showers were right across the hall and we never had a situation where we had to wait to shower. There was a sink in our room, which was nice. The shower water was hot and...

We loved our stay here. After carrying our bags in the heat from the train station, walking into the welcome area and our room felt incredibly refreshing. Everyone we talked to was sweet and helpful. The room was surprising big, and the hotel design felt unique and warm, making us feel comfortable the second we walked in. The price was...

We stayed in a quadruple room with two teenagers and had lots of space and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast (extra cost of 5 Euros) was fresh, hot, and tasty and it was nice to have a table in the room. We had great people-watching from our windows over Duomo square and the hotel was walking distance to the...

This hotel is located in the heart of Florence, and is very convenient when you are out sightseeing. It’s easy to stop by the hotel and use the restroom or grab something. The service was great. The proprietor was very kind and helpful; he helped to make our stay very enjoyable. The restroom is not in your room. We never...
