This hotel is a very good choice for Florence. It is in a perfect location because everything that you want to see is in a walking distance from the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and cute. It also has a very good selection of breakfast options.

The Globus Hotel in Florence is conveniently located and major attractions can easily be reached by foot. The room I was assigned was very modern, clean, comfortable and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was an added bonus and offered both hot and cold choices. All of the above, added to the most helpful, friendly and accommodating staff, make the Globus Hotel...

This hotel is located right near the train station and major tourist attractions in Florence. The staff was wonderful and we loved the breakfast. Our room was clean and modern. There are a ton of places to eat or buy whatever you need right outside the hotel.

We stayed here in May of 2016 for a week. The location is perfect, within walking distance to most main attractions in Florence. Super close to restaurants and pubs. We always felt safe walking to and from our hotel, no matter what time it was.The staff were excellent! We were able to check in early and they answered the many...

Close to the train station (several minutes walk) is making it easy to arrive since the streets are narrow and transportation through them is not always flowing. The rooms are modern but somewhat small. Storage is in shortage so most things are kept in the suitcases. However, this is not crucial if evaluating the overall experience. Bathroom somewhat small, but...

From the moment I walked through the door I was welcomed with a smiling face. He knew my name and who I was without me even telling him. He was that observant. My room is decorated very nicely. I have a great view of popular buildings and it's close to a market. My T.V. Is huge, and the free breakfast...

Two of us on a girls trip stayed our first 3 nights here in Florence and had a great experience. The reception staff was very friendly, personable, and always had great suggestions for dining. We booked the economy room with two twin beds and a small bathroom. It was perfect for the two of us as we were in Italy...

I stayed here with a larger group in October 2016 and it was stark contrast for the better to our previous hotel in Venice (shall remain unashamed!) Hotel was brilliant: the staff on reception, the cleanliness of the rooms, the decor, the location, the food. All was amazing. I will definitely come back and stay here if visiting again. Highly...

Located a short walk from Firenze Santa Maria Novella railway station and away from the main roads, this hotel is a great place to stay. All the major attractions are a short walk away. The friendly greeting upon arrival, the clean modern rooms, the breakfast are all fantastic. My only regret was allowing myself a two night stay, insufficient time...

The hotel is located 15 minutes walk from the city center. The room was clean. There is a small balcony. But the walls are too tiny. You can hear everything from the outside. It is really bad and it annoys you much when somebody is staying on the streets and speak you hear every word into your room or when somebody closes the door. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Globus was completely renovated in June 2016. The new reception area, located on the street level of Via Sant'Antonino, is now connected to all rooms thanks to our new elevator. The new breakfast area overlooks a small courtyard with a nice vertical garden. Our staff is a mixture of all ages, languages, cultures and countries, always smiling and willing to offer you tips on places to visit, restaurants to try. They're always there for you. For what regards our location, it is definitely one of the key features of Globus. The proximity to all the Santa Maria Novella train station and all main attractions, including the Duomo, both major museums (Uffizi and Accademia Galleries) or Ponte Vecchio, among others, makes it very easy to plan even the busiest day without the need to lose time getting from the hotel to your desired location. What makes our neighbourhood special though is definitely the Mercato Centrale, located just around the corner from here. In the morning, that is where you want to go if you're planning to buy some food to take back home, or simply want to try the famous Tuscan specialties, "trippa" and "lampredotto". Where this place shines though is the 1st floor, open from 10am until midnight. It's a big, modern open space with many restaurants, serving a variety of really delicious food. Make sure to check it out! ... more   less
