A beautiful, old palazzo converted into an intimate hotel with 10 rooms, steps from the Duomo. It was perfectly situated for walking the entire city, had a lovely breakfast every morning, and helpful staff who coordinated many of the elements of our trip for us,...More

Dear Andi, we can only thank you for your kind review! We try to do our best as services and kindness.... but the location...is not our credit!!
This 1,000 year old palazzo is built around a courtyard and is located about 1/2 block from the Duomo. The location is perfect for taking advantage of the fabulous sights in Firenze. Our room -we splurged on the junior suite- was incredible. It was a...More

Palazzo Niccolini al Duomo is beautiful and elegant. The location can't be any better. You can almost reach out your hands from hotel window and touch the wall of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. It's right next to everything, and yet it's so...More

If you are looking for a truly incomparable experience and cost is not the issue the Pal. Niccollini MUST be your choice. Ask for one of the suites facing the Doumo. It is in fact a palace that is currently inhabited by the descendants of...More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
Is this hotel in a location that is close to places to eat, have a few drinks at night, close to main attractions, close to train station?

There is a blowdryer, didn't need an iron so I did not notice. I am sure if there isn't one, they would provide it to you.
