We stayed at the Adler Cavaliere for my husbands birthday break in March. We were giving a spacious room with a comfortable firm bed which was well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a mini bar, air conditioning, a safe, and a bathroom with a shower and a bath which was stocked with their products. The hotel was a...

We were in Florence for two days and stayed at this hotel due to very close proximity to train station and ability to walk to multiple attractions. It was decently priced for the good quality. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was the substantial with meats, cheeses, cereal, pastries, toast and coffee. We do not spend much...

This is a very nice hotel. The beds and pilows are very comfortable. Our room was a good size and quiet. There is a large safe, and wifi was excellent. Breakfast provided a good buffet choice. The location is excellent - very close to the Train Station. Would definitely stay here again.

We found the hotel on trip advisor and loved the location. We snagged up a great deal and fell in love with the hotel. The room was great, we just did the standard for the two of us, and it included an awesome shower, minibar, tv, and a cute little view. The hotels breakfast, which is included, was great! Fresh...

Situated a few minutes walk from main train station, Firenze Santa Maria Novello this hotel is a great location to discover the delights of the city. Staff friendly, free wifi, nice big room with balcony and mini bar. Breakfast disorganized is only downfall for the property! 15 minutes walk to the city centre. Highly recommended, offering good value for money...

This is a nice hotel. The beds are firm but comfortable. Our room was a good size (though the bathroom was compact) and quiet. There is a large safe, and wifi was excellent. Staying in Santa Maria Novella

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Maria Novella
Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the majority of the people arriving in Florence, which might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists come across the constant hustle and bustle of the station before exiting, taking a few steps and stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It is impossible not to admire the the square, housing one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The area has plenty of local spots to taste Tuscan specialties, but don’t stop in the main streets alone; the narrower side streets always ensure satisfaction. The huge Parco Delle Cascine provides a solution to the need for a green area as well as a historic welcome in the form of a bronze statue of King Vittorio Emanuele II riding a horse.
