We arrived by car and parked in the private area through the gardens of the walled garden. After checking in we made our way up the spectacular stairwell to the second floor (there was a lift available) to our sparse and simple but quaint room. Breakfast was plentiful although there did seem to be a constant que for the coffee...

Unique Accommodation option in fabulous Oltrarno.Clean Room,Friendly helpful staff, Great breakfast. As mentioned some rooms ( we were in No7) have a separate private bathroom a few steps away from the room. Wi fi is better on the ground floor. The gardens were a delight, a wonderful respite from the bustle of Florence. Noise can be an issue if your...

We spent four nights here with a group of friends. The location was perfect, easy walk to everything you need to experience in Florence. Great staff, very helpful and approachable. The whole building had a sense of history and captured something of the culture of the city. One slight negative was that some of the rooms had a 'separate' en-suite...

Recently stayed in Casa Santo Nome di Gesu. location was excellent, being close to main attractions, but in a quiet area of the city. Walking distance to station, Duomo, Uffizi, but there is also a bus stop just round the corner from main entrance. we were a family of 5, and it is not always easy to find a big...

The accommodation is an interesting building, an old monastery, which is conveniently close to all main tourist attractions of Florence. I stayed for 4 nights in a good size 3-bed room that was very clean and quiet(with windows to the back of the building). The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is well presented, tasty and plentiful. There is...

I absolutely love Florence but did not enjoy my stay at this hotel. Check-in was fine but when I made it to my room it smelt terrible, mostly of cigarette smoke, even though I had booked a non-smoking room. I opened the window hoping to air it out and went out for a bit. You must leave your keys at...

I strongly reccomend this hotel. We paid for a double room 29 EUR for one night at this hotel in the heart of Florence at 10 min walking from Palazzo Pitti and 5 min Santo Spirito. Rooms are confortable and clean. Such a great choice! A good buffet for breakfast is included.

Initially I was a bit skeptical, having visited Florence five times (living only three hours away), but this was spectacular. The parking was safe, cheap and w/in the confines of the hotel compound. Bobboli gardens is a five minute walk away and the Ponte Vecchio is about 10 minutes away. I would definitely recommend this stay. If you're looking for...
