This is the first time I travel alone and I got to stay in this lovely hotel with amazing welcoming people. I got to stay three nights and they were able to help me and show me how to get to different places around. You can walk anywhere from there and there are plenty of small cafes and restaurants on...

I just love this hotel! The room was nice, the bed was extremely comfortable, the staff were very helpful! I don't think you could find a better deal in Florence. Our room was right off the terrace, which we used all the time.

Hotel was very convenient to train station and attractions. Our first room had a/c for +10 euros per night and opened onto the roof terrace...very nice. Unfortunatle, there was a mix up. We were street side and no a/c. It was VERY noisy. Windows had to be closed for noise control so it was stuffy. Staff was nice and breakfast...

Two notes for potential, future guest reading this review: Complimentary coffee pods for the in room coffee maker and sweet and salty snacks are provided. Most rooms also have a refrigerator. However, we do not serve breakfast. While our section of Via Guelfa is not the busiest street in town, it is a thriving, urban, Italian street, in a residential...

Hotel Il Bargellino was an outstanding hotel! After 14 days in Italy my boyfriend and I agreed that this hotel was by the far the best. The staff was incredibly friendly and got us tickets to the academia the day before, a tough task. The wifi worked really well which was great news. The hotel was very close to the...

I am not sure we would find a better value in Florence. We spent five nights at Hotel Il Bargellino in a large room with a king bed, en suite shower and bidet, a fridge and coffee maker, and a window looking out on to a roof top terrace. Our room and several others shared a pair of WCs at...

Really enjoyed my stay here! My room was clean and comfortable and is located only a short walk from the train station as well as all of the main tourist attractions in Florence. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating - thank you!

I don't know where to begin. With the graciousnes of Carmel and Pino, the convenience of location (a 5 min. walk from anywhere in the city), or the beauty of I'll Bargelino and the comfort of it's rooms. All are extraordinary. I can't say enough good about this place. For me it was like floating in a dream. If you...

I am so glad that we chose to stay at Il Bargellino during our trip to Italy. What a perfect little place. It is in walking distance to all of the local attractions and Carmel and Pino couldn't have made us feel more at home. The place itself is absolutely gorgeous. Our room was off of the patio and I...
