It was very hard to find the hotel itself - just pay attention while you have arrived. it's in 3rd floor (formerly appartment converted to hotel)., Rooms are very old and not well equipped. I liked staff - 2 guys which were very gentle but, facility is not in a good condition, AC was not working, heater was working but...

Piazza dell'Independenza is a good location as it is near the station and centre. The hotel has some charm with its old-fashioned furniture and vintage lift (out of order on the first day, a bit of a problem since reception is on the third floor). I'm not sure it's woth three stars; the rooms are quite small, the shower is...

Negatives: It turned out that a room facing Piazza della Indipendenza was not the advantage we expected: almost very night there were noisy gatherings of area residents in the piazza (which is really a park), which interfered with our slumber. And the absence of a screen on the window meant that keeping the windows open for ventilation also allowed some...

We only spent one night there. It was very clean and the room was a nice size. It how ever a little hard to find. My husband went and walked around and finally found it. When he came back the manager was with him and took our bags to our room while we parked. If ever get back to Italy...

It was our first experience with a hotel 3 floors above ground level. There are some medical offices and a hospital in the area but we didn't hear any sirens. Entry was at a nondescript door at the street. You push a button to announce yourself as a guest and they unlock the door. Then you ride the old fashioned...

We stayed there for two nights in October. The hotel was hard to find, but more due to the winding and weaving of the streets in Florence than the hotel's location. Once we oriented ourselves, we didn't have any problems finding the hotel. We thought that the location of the hotel was nice, away from the commercial buzz of the...

Our experience was ruined by a run-in with the owner. As their website advertised breakfast until 10:30 am, we went to the breakfast room at 10:05 am only to find that breakfast only goes until 10 am due to a change in ownership. We tried to explain the misunderstanding to the concierge who was quite indifferent and asked the owner,...

Little charming hotel in the very centre of Florence, just a little distance from Mercato Centrale. Occupies the two last levels of a old clean building. Rooms are very clean, comfortable, and even silent (to be noticed in the centre of this big city !), with air conditioning. From the window of many rooms, you can see the Duomo and...
