I chose this place to stay for 5 days, having to be present in Florence at a professional congress. I must admit I previously had some fears, because of the small price and because of the detail regarding a common bathroom that I had read on the site. Il Diospero is a small perfect family business, run by a couple...

We felt at home during the few days we spent in Florence. The family welcomes you and gives you great advice to approach the city as a true fiorentino. They are warm and you feel they are pleased to have you as their guests. In the meantime they are very professional and there are no complaints to be raised about...

I stayed there for 2 nights and no doubt the apartment is very comfortable, neat and homely. It is near to the bus station (200 meters away). Both Diego and Valerie are very hospitable and accommodating. They have good breakfast (even some home made stuff). Definitely recommend this to other travelers.

Diego and Valerie were excellent hosts, very relaxed and friendly. Diego provided a great service by collecting us from the train station at 10pm so we didn't have to worry about transport. He also helped with directions and different sights to see. The B&B is very clean and the breakfasts excellent. The lounge is an added bonus as you can...

As an added extra to our break in Tuscany we decided to spend our first night in Florence, at this family run b & b and were so pleased that we did. The house itself is full of history and beautifully decorated. It is within walking distance of some of Florence's most historical buildings but also 2 x minutes from...

What to say, about Firenze, yet untold... Magic place, in broad senses. Staying there in a beautiful house,at walking distance from the main views hosted by a nice italian couple, at an affordable price. No more to say.Highly recommended!! The central area is 20 minutes walking , in a quiet fashion, and foremost enjoying the amazing architecture of the most...

I stayed here for 4 nights in October, in a double room on the 2nd floor. I took up Diego's offer of a lift from the station - far easier than trying to suss out local buses etc with luggage on arrival in a new city. Both Diego and Valerie and very welcoming hosts, and very chatty, with many stories...

Beautiful accommodation, immaculately clean, beautifully presented buffet breakfast and outstanding hosts. We were picked up from the train terminal for less then half the cost of a taxi by Diego and dropped back again. Location is walking distance to city centre. Hosts went out of their way to help my son when he was sick and obtained medicine for us....

I arrived to the train station in the evening and Roberto, the owner personally picked me up. The hotel is a middle aged house which has been renewed by Roberto. It is amazing. The room was comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated.
