We loved Burchianti and were treated so well by Mario, his son, and the charming Signora. The room was beautiful with gorgeous frescoes on the ceilings; the location was perfect. We totally enjoyed our 6 night stay and would return anytime. What a pleasure to stay in this lovely hotel, including an elegant breakfast. We wanted for nothing and definitely...

This hotel was perfect for our three nights in Florence. We were provided a double room and it was lovely. A very large room, and frescoes covered the wall and ceilings. There were two additional single beds in the room that we did not use. Mario Gelli told us the house was built in the 1500s by a wealthy family-...

This hotel was really nice! It is so close to the station and the main sights of the city. It is easy to walk around from here. The room was really nice for one person and even had a nice view of the little garden area. The service and breakfast were great. Definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying...

We were pleasantly surprised with the value and luxury of hotel burchianti. We were offered a complimentsry upgrade to a suite which had Hugh ceilings, marble bathroom, art fresco on ceilings. The breakfast had fresh croissants and espressos with prosciutto and fruit. The location was five minutes from the station ( you have to ring the doorbell to enter), five...

I am still in Florence - it was had to pick up the place to stay and I travel on relatively low budget normally trying to find a reasonably priced and pleasant hotel close to the venue of the event I am going to. Burchianti has an excellent central location, it is walking distance from S Maria Novella train station,...

rooms, entering hall, and the corridor are very very pretty, Florence style, which is romantic-elegant-classic style. anyway- it was different from other places in Tuscany we stayed at. They were playing Opera music during breakfast - this was very classic-elegant experience for us.. :). the garage right next to the place, was very helpful because of the parking prohibitions on...

Florence was packed, so I had to stay somewhere new - a delightful hotel at a reasonable price in an historic palace. Excellent location in via del Giglio - peaceful, but only a step from the station and the church of San Lorenzo, and its market; around the corner from Palazzo Medici and just a few yards from the Duomo...

Excellent location--very near train station, located on a quiet back street. You can walk to absolutely everything. The proprietors Mario and Sr. Rela make you feel like you are guests in their home. Mario speaks excellent english and will give you wonderful advice for restaurants and how to get the best deals on attractions and shopping. Unique property and history...

I booked this little hotel for the frescoes and was not disappointed! We arrived by train and it was very close to the station on a little side street. Thanks to other reviews I knew to just look for the address and buzzer to be let in. The owner was courtly and helpful and our room for 3 of us...

My husband and I and 2 friends all had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Burchianti in Florence . What a wonderful find. Not only were the rooms breathtakingly beautiful, with frescos on the ceilings and walls, but the staff were the nicest people we met in Florence. We just wanted to hang out and talk to them our whole...
