Stayed in this B&B for a few days in June for a business trip. You need to check yourself in, no presence of the owner. The B&B itself is basically a flat in which each room was adapted into a bedroom for guests. Privacy is very low, you can hear every other guests slamming the door during the day and night as well as preparing their food in the kitchen. Room is clean but not great, sheets are old and clearly reused too many times. On Booking.com it looks different than in reality. To be honest it was OK overall but definitely not satisfying. Moreover it is definitely not worth the price.

Was surprised at how walking distance it was from main attractions rail stations. I had an enjoyable stay and the hosts were accommodating of our asks. It is affordably priced and a comfortable and warm place to stay.

This guest house was a fantastic base from which to explore Florence. Very affordable, extremely welcoming and pleasant. The decor is really lovely and it is clear that the owners take a great deal of pride in the place, which is kept clean and tidy. We had a fridge and air conditioning in our room, and there was a table in the room so we could eat meals at home, which was extremely convenient.

I had a wonderful stay at Bric a Brac in October, 2016. The staff were friendly, the place was clean and comfortable, the wifi was free, and it was about about a 20 min walk or so into city center and the main bus station. Our room had a mini fridge that was stocked with juice, milk, meats, and cheeses and we had access to a kitchen with microwave, coffee machine, and dishes. Things to note:The staff are not there 24 / 7, they leave each afternoon / evening and come back in the morning. There is only one bathroom and it is communal so it can be tricky to get a shower in a timely fashion at night if the rooms are all booked and the bathroom was never stocked with the appropriate amount of toilet paper. I think they only put one or two rolls out per day due to a full house we ran out of TP at night while there was no staff there to replenish. Overall, its a great place though, just ask for extra TP :)

I stayed at the Bric & Brac this last September for 2 nights and had a great experience. Laticia ia amazing, always willing to help and guide. The room was big, nicely designed and very clean. The bathroom was a shared bathroom. The B&B is a 5 minutes bus drive from the center or you can walk for ~15-20 minutes. I would surely come back again :-)
