Located in the heart of Florence, just 200 metres away from Santa Maria Novella central train station, Hotel Ester is the perfect place to stay during your visit. All rooms have comfortable beds, A/C, free Wi-Fi, LED TV, and private bathrooms. We want your stay here to feel just like home!
NIce and cosy hotel near the railway station. The room was perfect with all the basic amenities in place. All attractions and market were walking distance from here. There is a small kitchen too. However not many pots, pans or cutlery available.

Hotel Ester has an aesome location near the main train station. Marco and the entire staff are very kind. They will make your stay very comfortable and help you with travel plans and hotel recommendations. A simple place for family to stay - not luxurious but very comfortable.

We stayed here for a night. The location of the hotel was excellent-- a 5 minute walk from the train station and we walked everywhere after that. Hotel Ester is located in a building with many other small hotels. The exterior is not impressive and our expectations were not high since we secured a great price from hotels.com. To our delight, Anna was very helpful and gave us great dining recommendations. She showed us to a spacious room with a good shower, computer and a small balcony. There's also free wifi. For the price, there's nothing to complain about really. It's a great bargain!

Wonderful friendly staff, perfect location near the train station, walking distance to anywhere you want to go, HUGE room by euro standards, clean and modern amenities (satellite TV and a computer with internet in the room). There is also access to a kitchen and washer/dryer if needed. I would absolutely stay here again!

Stayed at another hostel the night before and ended up paying the same amount for a MUCH better place. Maison de Charme is SO clean and at a very convenient part of the city (especially for those traveling by train). I liked that we had our own bathroom and liked that there were computers inside of the rooms as well as wifi in the kitchen. Another plus is free calls the U.S./Canada so I was able to communicate with family back home! Great place, wonderful staff, SUPER clean. I would totally stay here again.

A Friend and I recently stayed at hotel ester and found the rooms to be in excellent condition with comfortable beds, good shower and a range of services including wifi and a computer which we found extremely useful. The staff were happy to help us with any queries we had and provided advice on where to eat and direction to the major sites. For value for money and location close to the train station this place is hard to beat. Would definitely come back.

We booked into Hotel Ester, but were "transferred" to Maison de Charme just across the street. The elevator was tiny (just 2 persons, or 1 person with luggage), the room was big, simple and clean. Included in the price we found a lot of unexpected services like computer with free internet in our room, big flatscreen TV with free Sky channels, small fridge and small safe. The en-suite bathroom was new and clean. Then there was a fully equiped kitchen (and even a washing machine) that we could use freely. Very kind and helpfull service. Very near to the train station. Good acustic isolation, the busy road below did not bother us. Only negative aspect was the heating : it was like 24-25°C in our room, and the heating could not be turned off. So we just kept our window open,…

We live in the USA and have a friend who lives in Florence who went to many hotels to find us a nice one at a fair price. In his opinion Hotel Ester was the best value and we agree. It's really close to everything Firenze has to offer including the train station for easy departure. You can walk to everything. Anna is kind and helpful and a pleasure to know! The room was spacious with a nice view and had a small balcony where we ate panini and drank wine with friends. The A/C worked well and there's a little kitchen down the hall. The hotel also has free WIFI and had a computer in the room. Not so common in our travels and it was a GREAT convenience! There's also an elevator so you don't have to climb stairs with your luggage. When we go back to Florence we'll definitely stay…

The hotel is located about a block a half from the train station, an easy walk with luggage. We stayed two nights in a double room en suite. The 5th floor room was spacious and had an incredible view of the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio and the Capella Medici. It also had a small balcony. We left the balcony doors and windows open the whole time to enjoy the breeze and had no issues with noise. The hotel has an arrangement with a cafe down the street for breakfast. Hotel residents pay no service charge. For 3,80 you get a choice of small sandwich or fruit, plus a pastry, coffee/tea and juice. The food is good and you can get in and out very quickly. The hotel staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and gave us a map highlighting all of the attractions. You can walk to any of the…

This hostel is very convenient as it is located less than a 5 minute walk from Santa Maria Nouvella station. There's a supermarket practically across the street and many little restaurants around. The staff at the hostel are super friendly and welcoming. Right when we got there, she asked us if it was our first time here, and it was, and pulled up a map, circled all the popular tourist attractions and good restaurants. We had a private room located near the back right next to the laundry room. Aside from the staff that walks to the laundry room, the room was very private. The hostel is relatively clean with satellite TV, a fridge, a safe, etc (in the private room). I would definitely stay here again.
