Very good location, few minutes walk to the center of Florence and few minutes away from the train station.
Very small 'small double room' with tiny bed almost impossible for two people to sleep normally . It's not very safe/ I would recommend it for...More
So me and my boyfriend arrive in Florence early afternoon on a Monday, we start searching for a cheap but decent hotel for our one night stay in Florence. After about 30 mins of walking around we find "Hotel" Toscana on Via del Sole, at...More
Where should I begin! By first glance, the room was awful. Paint chipping, mold, missing pieces of wood, so hot you could feel the humidity; all things that could be overlooked.
It got worse when we were forced out of our room for long periods...More
Not a nice experience at all. The photos look nothing like the room, everything was broken or dirty. The bed was not big enough for 2 people. The guy in reception was miserable and just made the odd grunting sound.

Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the majority of the people arriving in Florence, which might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists come across the constant hustle and bustle of the station before exiting, taking a few steps and stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It is impossible not to admire the the square, housing one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The
area has plenty of local spots to taste Tuscan specialties, but don’t stop in the main streets alone; the narrower side streets always ensure satisfaction. The huge Parco Delle Cascine provides a solution to the need for a green area as well as a historic welcome in the form of a bronze statue of King Vittorio Emanuele II riding a horse.
Hi, I was wondering if there is a parking in the hotel as we are planning to rent a car and will arrive there on Sep 4. We would like to park the car in the hotel and walk around the city.
I appreciate if you could provide any information regarding car parks in the area.
