We were lucky enough to stay 5 nights at Home in Florence during the month of May 2007. Paolo Gori was there from the start, helping us with our luggage and offering a bottle of wine. The room was very clean and spacious. Free internet outside our room and a phone down the hall for our needs. The breakfasts at...

This was our FAVORITE stay during our tour of Italy in May. Florence was my FAVORITE city, which likely has a lot to do with this bed & breakfast. The room was fantastic, the host was gracious, and the free internet was great! The location was perfect, as we prefer staying in residential areas rather than touristy areas. However, it...

A charming bed and breakfast on an upper floor of an old building near to the Boboli gardens (which are well worth a visit). The staff were very friendly, and the room contained both fridge and safe deposit box at no extra cost. There was air conditioning but it did not seem to be on while we were there in...

This B&B was a great find - we really enjoyed our stay here. It was excellent value and in a good location (close to the Ponte Vecchio). We got a taxi to the hotel from the train station with our bags, but after that we walked everywhere from the hotel. Our room was very big, beautifully decorated and extremely clean....

We stayed in the Santa Maria property on April 2007 for three nights on an excellent spacious and clean room. Clean private bathroom which included a washing machine that we did not use it but was available. Including in the price was the use of internet that was very useful to stay in contact with family and friends as well...

Great place and fantastic value! We booked through Venere.com because we were unable to locate the property's website (the name is too generic!). I found their site afterwards -- [--]. Rates look slightly cheaper on their site, and if you reserve through the property directly, ask for a small discount for paying cash. The location was nice, ~10 minute walk...

This place was perfect! Simple but charming, comfortable, and clean. Best of all, it is away from the overwhelming touristy districts, however, in walking distance of all the major sites. One can really feel that he/she is staying in cute apartment of a local instead of a commercial business. The cafe around the corner served the typical Italian breakfast- pastry...

We very much enjoyed our 5 day stay at Bed and Breakfast in Florence. It was a pleasant home base for us with a central location but still quiet, a large, beautiful room, a good bed and our own bathroom. All in all it was perfect for us.

So this is my first experience with such a setup. Stayed from 6 -8th March 2007. At 68 Euros per night, breakfast was included (a coupon was given to get our breakfast at a nearby cafe) and we enjoyed free internet access using our laptop. Really a steal in Florence! The B&B is inside a residential apartment actually. You gotta...

Massimiliano, the proprietor, and his staff were helpful, friendly, and hardworking. The room, with painted ceiling, lovely antique furniture, mini-fridge, and a huge bathroom, was incredibly clean. We had plenty of hot water, a rarity in Italy. The free internet access was a welcome touch. The location was great as it was only 15 minutes from the main attractions. The...
