The main attractions in Florence are within walking distance as is the train station, restaurants and leather and apparel markets. My room was the smallest I have ever lived in but yet the most "feel at peace" experience, having all the basics in place apart from internet. A local GSM card is sold next door to the hotel so no...

Great location! Walkable to everything in the city. Very close to train station. Walkable, even with big luggage. Only issue is noise, since you are close to everything. Bring earplugs in case you are not able to get a room away from the street. No frills hotel, but very clean! Staff is very helpful. Will assist with train schedules and...

It took me nearly 40mins to figure out the hotel. Here is the direction for 8mins walk: when u exit the station, cross the road, opposite side is 24h McDonald, then walk straight to the corner, there is BATA shoes store in front of you, BATA is on Nationale, walk straight (or on your right), after 5mins you will find...

I stayed at this hotel simply because it was what was available as a last minute booking within my price range. The room and bathroom were clean. The shower would be small for a chubby person. I was able to walk from the train and bus station from this hotel. Breakfast was good. Its an older hotel and the carpets...

We stayed as teachers with a large school group and, unlike other hotels we stayed in, they didn't treat us as an inconvenience! Staff were very friendly in this family-run business and very accommodating of our students. Rooms were comfortable and clean with pleasant bathrooms. The street comes alive at night and does get noisy if you're facing the street,...

We spent 5 nights in Florence and Hotel Eden was the perfect base to explore this beautiful city. We arrived a good two hours before check-in time and had contacted beforehand to ask if we could drop our bags, but when we got there, they let us check in early which we were very grateful for! It's a simple hotel...

Stayed for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Room were basic, but clean and well cared for and are typical of the many small European hotels that I have stayed in (almost annually) for the last 25 years. The bathroom is small by North American standards, but well organized and appointed and more than adequate for my needs (I am...

The hotel surpassed our expectations in every category! It was very clean, and even had air conditioning (we were there is July, so it was hot!). The staff were extremely friendly and gave us some insider tips, like what to see and where to eat. Those suggestions really enhanced our overall trip, so we were very thankful for that. The...

I stayed at this hotel for three nights on my return to Florence and chose it because it was one block away from my daughters apartment. What a pleasant surprise as there was free wifi which is something I never got when staying at Hotel Bigallo whilst in Florence two weeks prior. This is such a plus when you are...

This hotel is quaint, but that's about all it gets from me & my American standards. Everything is cramped. Lobby, breakfast area, rooms-all TINY. For three people the room is crazy small. Three twin beds all smacked together. The bathroom is a bit better but with a small shower. Don't get why they put the outlet for the lamp right...
