I first stayed at the Franchi Residence last year and absolutely adored it. Clean, comfortable and relaxed. Simone manages the place with warmth, thoughtfulness and assurance. I'm staying there now and will be back again. Very central location, btw.
This was by far our best experience in accommodations in Italy. It was like our own little apartment. We did not get a room with a kitchen but they are available. Spacious and clean, with good wifi, which is hard to find in Italy. Simona...More
Simona gave us maps and advices on touring, and she is always willing to answer any questions. She also helped to make a dinner reservation and to take care of our luggages. The room is traditional and well-decorated, and the small garden is also very...More
A beautiful place, once a monastery, now our most pleasant stay during our European tour. Excellent location, quiet, immaculate, and your host is extremely pleasant. A very relaxing place, flowers in the windows, a nice patio in the back. From the noisy streets of Florence,...More

San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on
Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
We´ve considering our weekend trip to Florence and this definitely caught our interest, though we are wondering if there is a possibility to park two cars easily somewhere near the house? Is there a paid parking spot?

There are cars parked on the other side of the road but they have stickers, I didn't see any parking space nearby .
