I am a bit late with this review, but better late than never. My husband and I stayed with another couple for 4 nights at Relais Piazza Signoria. We both had one bedroom executive studio apartments and they were fantastic. Very roomy, clean and modern and we were on the 5th floor. Could not have needed anything more. The location...

We spent 3 nights at this hotel, though it felt like we were able to experience living inner city like a local - it was great! The location is incredible and it is quite modern with excellent value for money. The rainfall shower was amazing! The building has a lift and the reception is only open from 9am - 6pm,...

Me and my partner have just arrived home from 5 days in Florence Italy, we stayed in Relais Piazza Signoria and did not regret it. The hotel is bang in the middle of the incredible city and very easy to access. Inside, the decor was very pleasant and inviting, just what you would expect of a hotel. On arrival, the...

First of all, not everyone expects the same of an accommodation. Meaning, if I like something, it doesn’t mean that you (the reader) will also like this hotel. We came to Florence to visit all the wonderful things the city has to offer. The sights are awesome, but the city is totally overrun by tourists and a complete mad house!...

This property is not a hotel and not a condo - it is an apartment rental (by the night) in a prime location with daily cleaning. Although it is listed as a "studio", it is actually a newly renovated one-bedroom unit because the kitchen is a completely separate room. We had a true king sized bed, a bathroom with shower,...

The "+": 1. Location!!! We've considered staying further away from the city centre, but on hindsight appreciated the decision to stay in such a central location. It's convenient to buy things and drop them off in our room, and have a toilet break, before continuing with our itinerary. 2. Quiet, clean place to stay at. Windows blocked out the noise...

My partner and I booked this hotel upon a friend's strong recommendation and were indeed very happy with the room and the hotel. We were given a free upgrade and the room was spacious and clean, with a functional kitchenette and we were provided with Loccitane bathroom items! Our room faced the main square and we could see the replica...

Fulvio made our stay wonderful. What a lovely place. We have stayed in Florence over 10 times and this location is beautiful. To ordering a taxi in your suite , maids clearing up washing up, making you feel comfy when you arrive back after a gorgeous day in Florence. It's a lovely place, we had room 504, suite as big...

We stayed here for three nights. The place has a great center location and the top apartment has got a beautiful balcony with a gorgeous and breathtaking view on Piazza della Signoria (I'd say even better than what you can get from the Uffizi's terrace bar). This room goes very fast, so make sure to reserve it on time! We...

We booked this accommodation to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and delighted that we did! I emailed Fulvio in advance to arrange prosecco in an ice bucket for our arrival and he organised this for us no problem. Gorgeous apartment, only downside was that we booked one with no view, would definitely recommend you pay the extra as the apartment...

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
