I met Letizia and Piero 15 years ago driving thru Italy with friends. I have been back countless times and tell everyone about this B&B. It is a quintessential Italian experience- you are and treated like family- invited to join them for an impromptu drive or have enjoy their home made wine and shell fava beans on the terrace for...

My husband and I are young newlyweds who were looking to get an authentic, non-touristy Florence experience. IL Torrino is beautiful, quaint, and romantic. Pierro and Letizia are the owners of IL Torrino and they are absolutely wonderful! They picked us up from the Train station, provided outstanding hospitality, helped us navigate through Florence and truly went above and beyond....

It is a lovely house on the hill overlooking Florence. It is only 10minutes by bus from Florence. It is perfect because you enjoy the city without being trapped with all the tourists. The view from the house and the grounds are beautiful. It is close to Fiesole, which is a small city in a hill and very nice to...

Just came back from a super holiday in Switzerland, Austria and Italy. We stayed in Florence at a B&B located not too far from the city centre ( easy bus routes available ) My daughter attended the NYU school at La Pietra ( which is very close to Il Torrino ) --and this B&B was recommended to us by friends....
