Hotels in Firenze / Florence are bit pricy but Fiorino was good value for the money! Best thing about the hotel is it's location, close to galleria uffizi, plaza signoria, Ponte Vecchio etc. nice dining places close by and where Il Proscutteria is definitely worth to visit for light meal. Breakfast was ok, not so special but the lovely lady...

We have no complaints with this fine hotel. Great location and easy walking to MANY of the must-see attractions, larger than most rooms, clean, extremely quiet (no street noise at all in Room 108, just some plumbing sounds and doors closing now and then), good breakfast in a nice room or on a flower-filled patio, good price, friendly and helpful...

The hotel is in a great location - a quiet street very near Piazza Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, Santa Croce. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast is good. I've stayed there several times and have settled on room 112 but I have never gotten an unsatisfactory room. Rooms are clean and comfortable, bathrooms are spacious enough and comes...

Never ever book this hotel. It is booked for school trips. We stayed here one night in April 2012 together with an Italian school. The adolescents stayed up until 4 a.m. and made a lot of noise. We made complaints to the hotel staff, but they replied very rudely they that the teachers were out so they couldn’t restrain the...

Went to Florence to visit my daughter who was going to school there. Stayed for 3 nights with my sister in room 104, with the window facing the alley, above the hotel entrance. It did get quite noisy with the people shouting orders and banging around dishes at the restaurant's back door across the alley. The vendor carts are also...

The bathroom was modern and although there was no shower cubicle had ample counter space. breakfast was basic but adequate and the staff were unanimously friendly and helpful. it's a two minute...

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
