The Battistero House was fantastic.I stayed here with my husband an daughter and was so impressed with this place. The price of this accommodation is cheap so I wasnt expecting the level of comfort and cleanliness it provided. It is literally a 20 metre walk to the Duomo which just blows you away when you first lay eyes on it... More

One of the most comfortable room we had during this trip in Italy, though a small hotel with few rooms that looks more like a residential apartment. It is less than 10mins walk from the SMN train station via the underground walkway instead of crossing the busy street, but beware that there is no elevator when you exit from the... More

I recently stayed here for 2 nights. We arrived later in the evening and had received information on how to get into the property by email. They were clear instructions and we got into the property and our room without hassle. The hotel is on a busy street (with the Duomo about 100 yards away!) but once we were in... More

My husband and i stayed at this hotel in September and it was absolutely fantastic. The location of this hotel cannot be beaten. 5 min walk to santa maria novella station and a 10 seconds to get to duomo. Absolutely best location ever. Gabriella at the reception is wonderful and she ensures you have a comfortable stay. She was extremely... More

The tourist house battistero is easy to go to everywhere for sightseeing, especially Doumo. (1~ 2min by walk) Sometimes I stopped by here during the tour and here is the best location to take a rest becasue it is very near from Doumo. The room is quite huge for stay 2 people. The bed is big for good sleep and... More

Stayed here a year ago and recently returned. Every bit as good as last time. The location is perfect and the place a real bargain. It is almost like a self contained appartment. Look out for a sister property opening soon.

Traveling from South Korea, I wanted to try out guesthouse other than Korean one. Have compared all the price for single rooms which I prefer and it was fair. Even though I stayed for only 1 night, the owner had set up everything prior to my arrival(directions, maps, keys, misc explanation) which made my trip so efficient. Thank him for... More

Great value for money. Though my room was small, it was very clean and literally a few steps away from the beautiful duomo. I was travelling alone and not disappointed whatsoever. Travelled in October 2014 - I'm grossly late in writing this review but it had to be done.

Stayed July 2014. The reception gave us a larger room that came with a kitchenette for our five night stay. The room was the largest one our trip to Italy which was nice. Wifi did not really work in the room, nor did our 3G. The hotel is conveniently 10mins from the train station and you can stroll your luggage... More

Central location. Very convenient, it's really close to the Duomo. The bed is large and comfortable. However, everything in the room seems quite old, and the room itself is not very clean. Also, it's very noisy during both day and night...we can hear people downstairs (which is a busy street) talking, yelling, laughing even in the midnight......
