This is a wonderful place to slow down and enjoy the sun and the olive trees, or the view of Florence far, far below. A great place to take a stroll or a bike ride to enjoy the beautiful countryside. Note: GPSs have trouble finding this place. Instead of aiming for Via Toree Di Buiano 4, set your GPS to...

Beautiful, traditional style guest house, with produce from the farm served at breakfast and the warmest of welcomes. This place is off the beaten track, a real find. Surrounded by the Tuscany hills and so peaceful it is hard to believe you are so close to Florence (about 10miles). We arrived very late at night due to a cancelled flight...

We spent 9 nights at this fanulous tuscan B and B. Giovanni and Antionetta were friendly , helpful and inviting. Nothing was too much trouble. The acomodation was clean, comfortable and with stunning views. Breakfast was never disappointing with homemade cake every morning - needless to say we have put on weight! Location perfect 10mins lovely Fiesole and bus to...

We think the web site over sells the experience. Not as good as many other B&B stays. The positives are - the owners are lovely people and the room is clean & tidy and breakfast is reasonable. No tea or coffee making facilities other than at breakfast time. The down side is the location - you are in the middle...

Dear friends of New Zealand. I thank you for your guidance on the hill in the sun( poggio al Sole) and your short stay. I like to clarify some issues for our next guests: The farm is only 8.7 km from Florence but you need the car. Coming by bus There are many critical issues. We are in the countryside...

I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful agriturismo, a short, pleasant drive from Fiesole this past summer for 11days. If you love to drive, like I do, than this is just a joy to travel (for those who like tight curves with outstanding scenery will know what I'm talking about). As soon as you drive into this heavenly,...

Last Monday we had a perfect evening here with excellent home made food from locally grown ingredients and home made wine, special indeed sorry I spilt a glass on the tablecloth! The beef with peppers and eggplant was superb as was the best Panne with raspberry couli ever. We sat outside under the trees. Bread and tomato salad, naked gnocci...

We had a fabulous time in Fiesole and Florence in large part due to the relaxing experience we had at Poggio Al Sole. Our room was spacious and just outside the door we had a beautiful courtyard to sit the fencing held the most fragrant sunset orange roses. The breakfast room was lovely and set so you met and spoke...

It is a nice Agriturismo (B&B). Very welcoming; you receive a detailed information about the possibilities to arrive in Firenze (by bus from Fiesole, very easy) and about the restaurants around the B&B. It is a very quiet place with a garden with a niece view and easy chairs! Proper rooms, good beds and a delicious breakfast. On walking distance...
