Casa Paolina has been a lovely place for my girlfriend and I to call home. We are staying long term as I work nearby, and Federica has been exceptionally helpful and accommodating to us. All of their rooms are of a different lovely style, and extremely neat & clean. Different sizes to suit families or couples. Ideally situated within the...

We holidayed in Lucca for a week in September and had a wonderful stay in Casa Paolina. The apartment we were in was very spacious and clean and had all the amenities we needed. We were staying with our baby so having a cot provided and a kettle we specifically requested was much appreciated. The apartment had a very cute...

We stayed at these apartments, couldn't fault the location, central to all attractions and restaurants from your front door. We stayed in apartment 7, 2 beds, very spacious and quiet of an evening, no disturbance when sleeping considering of the location. One criticism - bathroom is small, shower cubicle is awful, I am a small person and I struggled to...

We wanted an overnight stop to have a lazy Sunday in lovely Lucca en route from the south of Italy back to Milan. Lucca is beautifully preserved and cared for, Tuscany is the best part of Italy for me, and the town centre is where to be. On this particular Sunday there was a fair supporting a greener planet with...

We arrived for our third visit in Casa Paolina this April with three friends and sadly were greatly saddened to find the deterioration in not only the apartments but the location too. Every night we were disturbed by the many young gangs of youths who sat on the steps outside the two cafes opposite , one of which was Brazilian...

Stayed here with two friends for the Lucca Summer festival in July. Brilliant location - literally steps away from the main stage area, Piazza Napoleone. Staff were extremely helpful and chatty and eager to help. Didn't use the facilities as we ate out but there is mini kitchen area and full dining table etc so would be great for a...

Myself and my family loved staying in Apt Turandot at Casa Paolina. The apt was big, light and had a great view of the square. Roberta (who I mainly dealt with) could not have been more helpful yet we were also left to our own devices. Anything we needed such as a cot, taxi or iron was no issue. We...

An amazing find, we didn't want to leave! Our apartment was wonderfully appointed, large and spacious and in the perfect location to explore Lucca. I cannot praise the staff enough, they were so helpful and organised parking and excursions for us. Thankyou for a magnificent stay.

We rented Apartment 3, which has a balcony with a great view overlooking a small garden and the Piazza Napolean, for a week. The apartment was large with two good sized bedrooms and ample bathroom. Only issue was the 'living room' furniture is not comfortable and is only suitable for two people and there were 4 of us. The location...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Casa Paolina apartments are just a few steps from the town centre, at the junction of the cardum and decumanum, which marked the very heart of the ancient Roman town; Casa Paolina apartments overlook Piazza XX Settembre (once called Piazza delle Erbe because a fruit and vegetable market used to take place there), Via Beccheria, Piazza San Giusto, Piazza Napoleone (the most important square in Lucca). Besides boasting a particularly central position, Casa Paolina apartments also enjoy a very pleasant sun exposure, very difficult to find in other parts of the town. Casa Paolina Holiday Apartments in Lucca are the ideal place for both a historical and modern holiday; they are set in the very heart of the pedestrian historical centre of the town, rich in history of the 12th, 17th and 18th century and very close to Via Fillungo, the “most elegant promenade” in Lucca, whose smart boutiques fill the ancient town inside the Roman walls. ... more   less
