My wife and I enjoyed staying at Al Podere Di Rosa. The hosts were excellent, we were greeted with a glass of wine and sat in the wonderful garden while Paulo made a local dinner reservation for us (Which was a fantastic meal). The hosts helped us with directions, things to do, parking in the city and even where we...

From arrival to departure, Katerina and Paulo were the most gracious, kind and thoughtful hosts. This agriturismo was a little slice of heaven - beautiful scenery and perfect location. My husband and I walked here from the Lucca train station (it's quite a hike - perhaps around 8 km) and we also took the bus once, which stops about a...

Paulo and Caterina were delightful, and room was perfect and we were very happy here. A real sense of a small working farm producing organic wine and oil - caterina is quite a character, paulo just enchanting!

Wonderful experience! We really enjoyed our time at Al Podere di Rosa. Paolo was the kindest host and allowed us to try his homemade wine, which we vastly enjoyed while admiring the scenic views from the porch. Paolo walked us through directions to town and gave us the recommendation to the restaurant nearby called Bamboro. It was the most affordable...

A slightly late flight to Pisa set a scenario where everything seemed to be a little delayed, started with a missed turning on the autostrada, the incessant rain, the search for the turn to the Podere in the dark but finally Paulo was there welcoming at the door. Then everything fell into place and the vacation began, dinner at Lucca,...

We regretted that we were only able to stay one night. The welcome was warm and friendly. Our room was large and very pretty with a high beamed ceiling in the 400 year old building. Bathroom was also large and bright with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was served in a lovely room and included great coffee and eggs cooked...

A beautiful farm bed and breakfast amid the hills of Tuscany, near the walled city of Lucca. The owners, Caterina and Paolo, made our stay very special with their attention to every detail. We were very comfortable with them. The rooms, with private baths, were beautiful and immaculately kept. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and included fresh baking and...

“All rooms had a bathroom with a shower. One room had a large open shower. If anyone has a physical disability, that having more room to move around would be helpful, this is the room you should ask for.”
