Excellent location. Comfortable, clean, calm, friendly and close to the Campo dei Miracoli, but not in the crowded streets immediately surrounding it. The Botanical Gardens are next door and provide a good picnic retreat under the shade of some impressive mature trees. There is a decent cafe at the other, via Santa Maria, end of the via Volta. Five minutes... More

Since I had stayed here last year, we figured it would be good to stay here this time too. That way we would know where we were, and how to get to things from here. We got a room on 3rd floor, which actually is on the fifth floor, and no elevator...... Room was nothing great, but it was clean.... More

This hotel practically runs without a receptionist . . So if you need anything you will have to find another way . You have to pay for the towels and the street is very very noisy . The ,caution is perfect a few minute away from the tower .

The location is ideal for the tower, just couple minutes walk from the hotel. Apart from that there is nothing in the hotel. They have a parking place but they charge for it. The rooms have shared bathroom. The share bathroom are poorly maintained and they stink. The smell even engrosses the entire floor. Though the reception lady is helpful,... More

Hotel Cecile is close to everything you want to see in Pisa. The rooms are spacious and very clean with clean, fresh towels and linen. It is walking distance from the Tower of Pisa and has secure parking area available, if you are driving. If you have had enough of Italian food, there is the best Indian restaurant next door... On arrival the most unco-operative guy on the desk would not let us see the room before paying for the three nights we'd reserved (partly due to absence of any competent English speaker - though perhaps they understand more than they let on). First impression of room 25 was totally underwhelming - small , dingy, and without the balcony that... More

We had a very pleasant week long stay in this Hotel. It is 5 mins walking distance to the Tower you can almost see it, 20 mins walk to Train and Bus Station. The hotel is surrounded by café's and restaurants to suit all budgets. Our room was clean, the service was very good we were given extra pillows without... More
