We stayed for one night in this hotel and it was just as expected. Our room was very clean and traditionally furnished with a decent ensuite. The breakfast was welcoming with a good choice of continental foods. The rooftop terrace was an absolute delight after a busy day exploring Pisa.

Based on my experience in Pisa last year I touted the city as better than Lucca. Wrong, based on our stay in Hotel di Stefano for two nights in May. Neighbors include an Indian restaurant which few tourists would patronize. Maybe I am too harsh but we had to step around a dead rat in the street both going to...

Nice hotel right in the heart of it which made the extremely quiet room a very pleasant surprise. Quick check in and very helpful. Big comfy bed, egyptian cotton towels, spacious power shower, stocked mini bar at sensible prices and a brilliant breakfast what more do you want from a hotel.!

I can say that our stay at this hotel was enjoyable. The rooms were kept clean and the breakfast was good in the morning. The Stefano family are very nice and go out of there way to help you. The only down side was that we could not see the leaning tower properly because of a large tree that blocks...

Thank you for having chosen our hotel for your recent holiday in Pisa and thank you for your very positive feedback. We are sorry you couldn't access our beautiful roof terrace which is now accessible again and with a brand new tiled floor. We will be very pleased if you decide to be our guests again in the future.

We had a comfortable stay here, although the room was a little dated and would benefit from some cosmetic improvement. Another slight disappointment was that the roof terrace was not open, but then it was early in the season and there was building work in progress. That said, the bed was comfortable and everything worked, and the place was spotlessly...

First of all let me thank you for having chosen Hotel Di Stefano for your recent stay in Pisa! Thank you also for your very positive review and feedback. We are very sorry that the roof terrace was not accessible then, but maintenance works were needed due to heavy rains that occurred during last winter. As of April 20th it...

Hotel di Stephano is perfect for the independant traveller keen to see old Pisa, to live in its history and life. Its street runs from Roman ruins to its own dining room from the 11thC, and to a lively church. Stucco, terracotta, bicycles, laundry, and yet a stnes throw from a restruant perfect for every purpose. Just a delightful base.

I stayed here with a friend for 3 nights, for which we requested a room with twin beds, and so we were located on the top floor. The room was a little on the cosy side, and if we were staying for longer than 3 nights, this might have been a problem. But there was plenty of storage available in...

A short walk to the Leaning Tower and Duomo etc, this hotel is great value. Our rooms were on the small side but it was spotlessly clean and had all the basics you need. The ownere's son who often manned reception was particularly helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was ample and had a good variety of choices.

Location is excellent in the old town less than 10 minutes walk from the tower and about 20 minutes from the railway station. There’s also a great view of the tower from the roof terrace. Room was comfortable, if a bit on the small side. Breakfast buffet was good with a decent choice. All in all this hotel offers excellent...
