We stopped here for lunch and were provided with a large assortment of antipasti made from local ingredients, mostly from the owner’s farm. These included meats, such as prosciutto, olives, toasted bread with olive oil, various cheeses, onions marinated in chianti, etc. We also had one pasta dish and then biscotti for desert, which the owner recommended that we dip...

We had lunch at this charming Tuscany farm as part of our pre cruise land tour with Viking cruises. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain that day, but that did not take away the fact that this is a delightful gem tucked away in the Tuscan countryside. The drive there is scenic, the farm is quaint, the lunch was delicious, and...

I have stayed here numerous times with friends and clients and each time is more amazing. The area is beautiful, the family warm and genuine, the food is abundant and delicious! The whole Tuscan experience is something everyone should take the opportunity to do. You can have quiet relaxing days or drive out to the neighboring towns to explore. From...

Great authentic old world Tuscan charm. The agriturismo is beautiful. My husband and I also enjoyed strolling around the neighborhood and going into San Gimignano town. Staff were also nice. However, I don't know if I would stay here again. The rooms were not comfortable for my needs-- very aged, like medieval farm feel. If I visited San Gimignano again,...

We were very lucky to happen upon this agritourismo, who kindly took us in at the last minute for new year's eve dinner. The family put on the most incredible meal for about 30 people - a table covered in anti-pasta and starters, each one fantastic - followed by the main meal and the most wonderful desserts, wine, etc. During...

Very nice accommodation in a rural area, yet very near both Volterra and San Gimignano. The hosts are highly informed on almost any subject and very friendly. They also make wonderful wines and host occasional banquet suppers. I can't wait to go back.

My two daughters, my 13-month-old granddaughter, and I stayed here for three nights in early October 2016. It's a 1000 year old village re-purposed as a winery, farm, and B&B. The entire place was a delight -- great food, great wine, friendly dogs (they took us for a walk), and spectacular scenery. Everyone bent over backwards to satisfy our every...

We were staying down the road so decided to walk down and do some wine tasting. The couple who run the place were wonderful, taking time to talk through all the wines and life in general in tuscany. We told them that we had just got engaged during the conversation and when we went to pay they refused to let...

I stayed in the apartment (which is the bottom floor of the farmhouse) for 3 nights in October. Firstly it's a beautiful place and the hosts are very nice people. There are some chickens, dogs and a car lurking about so ideal for an animal lover like me. Being October, and being cold, the owner had arranged for a pile...

Fattoria San Donato was recommended by our hotel as a place where we could drop into for a visit without a pre booked vineyard tour. What a great recommendation. When we arrived there was coach party being shown around, but this did not stop the owner from coming specially to the wine shop to greet us personally and take us...
