A nice view over San Gimi unfortunately can't compensate the shortfalls. Breakfast selection really needs improvement. Hospitality of staff is limited. Pool-site needs an update - it seems not very well-maintained and water quality not good.

This is a small rustic hotel about a mile outside of San Gimignano. It's an easy 20 / 30 minute walk. The hotel is owned by 5 retired gentlemen and gentlemen they really are. They have invested very heavily in refurbishing the hotel and they all take a very personal interest in the property and the guests. The staff here...

This was one of my favorite hotels. There's nothing like waking up and seeing this view from your bathroom window. The breakfast and pool area are beautiful and it was nice to take a time out from touring and enjoy a little relaxation. The hotel seems isolated, yet its only a short drive to the town of San Gimignano. The...

At the hotel Villa Ducci you can find very friendly personnel, really keen to help making your stay as comfortable as it is possible. The postcard-like view on the Tuscan hills around San Gimignano and town's medieval towers is simply breathtaking and it makes your lunches and dinners unforgettable. The exquisite garden and the fresh pool give you a restorative...

This is a lovely and very friendly place. Great location just 5' drive from San Gimignano (you got to have a car ) Lady in reception was extremely helpfull and very polite. She showed us everything and she lead us to our room. The room was beautifull and comfortable. The only odd thing having a room in top floor was...

My husband and I came back to Villa Ducci to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. Last year al of our wedding guests stayed here for a weekend and we had our wedding party there! It was absolutely outstanding last year so we had to go back to relive our amazing memories. Every member of staff in this hotel goes above...

Beautiful hotel just outside San Gimignano in the middle of the vineyards. Very clean, pretty hotel with lovely grounds and views. Staff was helpful and breakfast was very good. One downer: it is 3 km from San Gimignano so getting there without a car can be challenging (especially in the rain)

Booked a double room, one bed was as hard as the floor the other was worse than sleeping in a hamock. If you didn't have a sore back when you went to bed you did when you woke up. The staff were nice and helpful. Short distance from the town but an uphill walk but once you got there lots...

Beautiful location overlooking the gorgeous town of San Gimignano. The sunrise and sunsets were awesome. If you are tired of that view there are endless grape orchards on all sides of the Villa Ducci. The Villa Ducci is outside of San G. but it was an easy but rather long walk into town - nice way to end the day...

“We had rooms 23 and 24 (2 women in each room), and they are on the second floor, and at the back of the villa. 24 is the bigger room. Great views and very private! There was also a room on the first floor that had a huge terrace of the room. the terrace is open to everyone, but it is kind of magical to have a huge terrace overlooking the hills of Tuscany outside your room!”
