My husband and I stayed in San Gimignano for three nights and were lucky enough to discover Locanda Viani on Trip Advisor. As we first rolled up to the B&B, I was instantly thrilled to discover how peaceful and quiet the location is. We were immediately greeted by the adorable Cesare (words can't describe how adorable he is!) and were...

This is a very charming house and Roberto and Paula are wonderful hosts (their son, Caesar, is a great kid too). It is about as close as you'll get to San Gimignano unless you want to stay in the town itself, which is not necessary since this is a 5 minute drive from one of the lots adjoining the town....

The exceptional hospitality that Roberta & Paola showed us started from the moment we got there - the kind of hospitality that you are hard-pressed to find nowadays. A wonderful place. If you are going to or near San Gimignano, this is where you should stay. It's in a great location, and the owners clearly want you to enjoy your stay. Strongly consider reserving a night to have them fix a private dinner for you. Paulo started preparing our meal around noon (we ate at 8:00) and Roberto...
