This is a small (4 rooms total) B&B run by a sweet couple, who made us feel right at home. They make breakfast each morning for the guests, and go out of their way to make everything just right. On the morning of our departure, they made breakfast earlier than usual so we could eat before heading to the train...

We enjoyed our stay at this homely, sweet and comfortable B&B. Warm hospitality with a wonderful breakfast, good recommendations from the owners and central location. If you open the windows at night might be noisy. A good-value way to enjoy Siena!

Would be rated excellent if the outside noise wasn't as bad. With the location, there was some pedestrian and car traffic outside the 2nd story window that was undesirable. Other than that, the room was spacious and well furnished with a nice 4 piece bathroom that was a decent size for European standards. The owner and his wife were gracious...

We had to shorten our visit to Siena due to travel complications. Our hosts got up early (they do not live on site) and prepared an outstanding breakfast and made sure we got a cab to our early train. Via Stalloreggi, like most streets in Siena, is busy but this one especially so because it is a main artery out...

I've been meaning to write a review of Alle Due Porte in Siena for several months. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay last fall. Egisto speaks English quite well and his wife only speaks Italian. However, with our limited Italian, we were able to make conversation with her without a problem. They are a very hospitable couple and we very much...

My friends and I stayed at B&B Alle Due Porte for 4 nights during the Easter holidays. The owners gave us a triple room with beautiful wood-beam ceilings, an extra sofa bed (which was a bit temperamental to be honest - if you sat on the end it would collapse it - but it was okay) and a clean, spacious...

This very small B&B is in a great location and was very charming. We had a hard time finding the exact location, but once we arrived we were greeted by the proprietor. All of the 4 rooms are located on the 2nd floor surrounding a small breakfast area. We had known when we booked the room that we would have...

This is a easy walk from the bus station and then you are just steps from the Campo and Duomo. Our room was hugh by European standards and we had a full bathroom at a good price. Breakfast was more than most-they really try hard to please! Very very clean. All 4 rooms are up a steep flight of stairs but...

This is only our first time experience with B&B, we are normally hotel travelers. We had one night in Siena enroute from Rome to Florence, decided to try this place out based on some pictures. The host are lovely couple and they were very nice and charming. The house is very old but very nicely fitted out and updated. The...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The B & B are found in the part more ancient than Siena to little steps from the Duomo and from the Santa Maria della Scala, nearest the Piazza del Campo and therefore in center. The testimonies of documents indicate that this building existed already as house tower in the twelfth century and on the facade the signs of the several modifications are obvious that have transformed it. With the restructure jobs it has been attempted to integrate the fascination of ancient with the comforts of a our time being left intentionally intimate atmosphere.
