Really cozy place, with a wonderful host who makes one feel at home. Not to mention it is a 10 minutes walk from Piazza del Campo and close to the train station as well. Rooms are huge, with such comfortable beds.

Comfortable room, good breakfast, nice garden. The place is silent even it is in the center of the city. Host friendly and supportive and location is convenient, it is close to Siena bus station and Old town. If return to Siena, will definitely stay there.

This was beautiful Bed & Breakfast! Luciana, a very helpful and friendly host, let us check in early to our huge, welcoming room. It was a corner room with two large windows. Breakfast was brought up to a room outside our door. This B&B is just inside the Old Town restricted area and is a pleasant walk into the old...

This is a lovely B&B close to everything, near bus station and not to far from train station. Host is very helpful and her English is quite good. Facilities are excellent - we had room on 2nd floor which had separate bedroom, living with kitchen and bathroom. Rooms were clean and tidy and there was plenty of cooking utensils/eating plates,...

Great location, 5 minute walk from bus stop and walking distance to all sights. Very comfortable room and good breakfast. Best part..the owners, Luciana and Luca, very caring people. We would stay here again. Siena was our favourite place in Italy.

Very welcoming and quiet lodgings near the city center. The apartment was clean, well stocked and had a warm, homey feel. Also, bed was very comfortable even for a tall man. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. Lovely accommodations, great location- highly recommend. Conveniently located near bus stop. Would stay here again.

This B&B is in a great location near the bus station and not far from all the sights. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast more than adequate. Luciana was an exceptional hostess and lives on the premises. Siena is a very walkable city, no public transportation needed. Would gladly stay here again and highly recommend!

This was advertised as a B&B but in reality it was much more. We had our own bedroom, living/cooking area and bathroom - all comfortable. The standard of equipment and facilities was good and the owner, Luciana, was charming. Every morning Luciana provided delicious fresh pastries for breakfast, as well as milk, fruit juice, cereal etc. She gave us a...

We stayed here for four nights in late April, and found it comfortable, convenient, and quiet. Great bed and a lovely bathroom, though the shower curtain didn't do a great job of keeping the water in. Our hosts were very friendly and gave us a good orientation of Siena. The location makes for a short and easy walk into town,...

Thank you for your suggestions, we try to improve breakfast, but it is an Italian breakfast! We hope to have you as our guests another time!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
“LA COPERTA RICAMATA” is situated inside the old city walls, in the territory of the contrada of Lupa, just steps away from Piazza del Campo, the heart of the city where traditionally on 2nd July and on 16th August the Palio, the annual historic horse-race, is held. The B&B is conveniently situated within walking distance of the city’s historic centre. It’s located near a bus stop, the railway station and a highway exit, so it’s an excellent accommodation for all travellers. It is possible to park in the nearby streets or to park at nearby garages. The B&B, located in a villa just inside the old city walls, is completely surrounded by a large garden that gives the guests peace, quiet and comfort, but also the view of an unusual landscape beneath the ancient and famous rocca of Monte dei Paschi. The villa, built at the beginning of the 20th century and renovated few years ago, is built on two floors. The B&B single and double guest rooms are situated on the first floor. All the rooms are large and with bathrooms en suite with hair-dryer, air conditioning, cabled TV and free wi-fi. The rooms are cleaned daily. Bed and Bath-linen are changed weekly. The breakfast buffet is served from 8 a.m until 10 a.m; guests may breakfast in their rooms. ... more   less

“The apartment "le stelle" is upstairs, spacious and private however is a loft conversion so less natural light than the other rooms. The other 4 rooms are downstairs (first floor) "la serenata" is lovely because it is around the corner away from the main corridor and has 2 beautiful big windows and a balcony that looks over the garden.”

“Do ask for a balcony.”

“Ask for a quiet room if this is important to you. I paid the extra for a full double room rather than the single occupancy rate which is cheaper but you get a smaller room and in some cases I believe a smaller (french style) bed which is shorter I think. So if you are tall this may be useful for you to know.”
