Excellent staff and service throughout, this is a hidden gem in Sienna, located close to the centre. Parking (not possible for tourists in Siena as a lot of Italian towns) is taken care of with an excellent valet system to their own garage at 20 euro a night. The hotel circulation areas are a bit cramped and it only has a small lift but we had no problems. Our room was excellent with a great en-suite, working aircon, strong wifi, comfortable bed and a lovely view across the edge of the town and the top of the Duomo (some rooms have no view so request it!). No restaurant but breakfast was a good buffet. 2 minutes walk to the edge of the centre, 5 minutes to the Duomo and 8 to the main square. Plenty of cafe's, restaurants and shops close by, you can walk everywhere. The staff work hard to ensure you get anything you need, just ask! They provided us with hot water for drinks at night and acquired some late night beer and wine for our kids (all 30 ish) despite not having any on site. At a reasonable price too. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Large in town hotel, fully updated baths with elbow room. Our room was quite large as well supporting three beds with ease. Located in center of innerstadt yet quiet. Helpful and pleasant front desk staff. Rooms were clean and did not require any repairs. Halls maybe needed some help. They serve a simple breakfast and offer a voucher for parking at the Il Centro Parking Garage, a discount not free.

Nice Hotel in the centre of Siena. A little hair rising to get to by car as you have to drive through the narrow pedestrian streets. When there the staff will park your car in a nearby carpark for 20 euros per night or you can try to find parking yourself, there are some free parking. The Hotel is perfectly located for walking around sightseeing in Siena or access Restaurants and cafes. The room we had was a little tired and could do with an update but it was clean. The breakfast is good and the staff helpful and friendly.

We had an awful experience with this hotel. When we arrived to our room, we realized that bathroom had nothing in common compared with the pictures shown online when we booked it. Actually the bathroom doesn't have a shower tray and, consequently, when water runs it soaks the whole floor.

We requested another room to take a shower because there was an available room which we could book online, but the hotel confirmed us that was for marketing purposes and did not really exist.
The only solution that the hotel offered us was a discount and to place some towels on the ground's bathroom. This solution left a lot to be desired, so we moved to another hotel. Before leaving, the person in charge, guaranteed us that no charges will be applied to our bank account.

Finally, the next day, we were extremely surprised because they contacted us to inform that they had changed their mind. They announced that charges will be applied despiste we only stayed a couple of hours, and all the experience we had in this hotel was arguing and tryng to find a proper solution.

We feel cheated and we highly recommend you avoiding booking this hotel when you visit Siena.

The hotel was located near Piazza del Campo and the Duomo, which made our walks very enjoyable.
Room 52 especially in which we stayed, offered an amazing view to wake up with.
Breakfast was decent where you had to fill in a form with what you wanted to have, and give it to the waitress so she could prepare them.
The problem was with the elevator which for some reason was only used to go up, whereas to go down you had to use the stairs and an emergency exit with the alarm going off each time it was opened (!!).

The location was very esay for exploring the city. The breakfast was adequate and served in a nice cellar location. The staff was polite and eager to assist. We had to change room in the second day as the first room we got was not the one showed on the reservation photos and we complained about it. The second room was much nicer with a balcony and a nice view.

The allocated rooms should correspond to the photos shown during the reservation. The hotel could use a refurbishment. The furniture is rather old and worn. The beds have seen better days. And the cleanness of the floor carpet of the corridor is questionable.

The management was very flexible with our arrival and departure times. They let us check in at 11:30 a.m. and allowed us to stay in our room an extra 2 hours the next day before departure. The man at the front desk was helpful in showing us the best way to leave the city in our rental car. The breakfast was elaborate and delicious. The hotel is in an excellent location for seeing the sights of Siena.

A very warm welcome for two soaking wet cycle tourists greeted us on our arrival at this centrally located hotel. Our bikes were securely parked in the hotel garage and our wet luggage did not cause any alarm. Our room was small (but cheap!) and the heating was on, which was nice. We stayed two nights and had both breakfasts in the dining room - excellent. I can't get on with the Italian taste for sweet things in the morning but the selection of cakes looked amazing. I had cold meats, various cheeses, lovely bread, fruit, yoghurt and a boiled egg (we were cycling after all). The shower was great and the room was cleaned in the morning.

We spent our honeymoon in the Hotel Duomo 25 years ago and have returned every five years to stay a few days in the same room (No 51). Each time we remember what delightful hospitality we enjoy at the hotel. On arrival we open the two windows to savour the views across the Duomo cathedral and the Torre di Mangia, and enjoy the same every day. The terrace is a lovely place to enjoy a quiet drink or read a book and listen to the swifts. Breakfast itself doesn't warrant 5-star but is improving! Our rating reflects our own personal experience of this charming small but very conveniently located hotel.

Modern smallish hotel. Elevator to 1st floor. Clean room, excellent toilet & sink in one room large shower in another self contortion. Both have excellent ventilation. Our room has super view of Duomo and surrounding countryside. Staff superb. They parked the car thankfully. Follow their instructions as driving in pedestrian zone isn’t fun but going carefully works.

Hi there. A taxi from the train station is 15 Euro. We walked from the train station the 1st day we arrived and it took an hour up the hill using escalators and walking 30 min from the top. We took a taxi back to the train station on departure. Breakfast was simply FANTASTIC for the price of the room etc... not sure what time, sorry.
