The position of the Hotel couldn't be better, it is a short walk to the Piazza del Campo and the Duomo. Our rooms were on the third floor and had wonderful views of the Duomo. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was typically Italian and plentiful. All the staff that I met were very helpful and friendly. There was no bar or restaurant at the hotel but there were numerous options nearby. Highly recommended.

It is next to the Basilique San Domenico and about 10 min walk to Piazza Campo. Very convenient location. It is a basic budget hotel, nice and clean, with breakfast included. To find it, you need to walk down to the left side of the Basilica and there are stairs on the right. Hotel is about 50 ft down. At that very terrace there is a ristorante and a pizzeria. So easy access to food choices. It was an enjoyable stay

I love a good view and the view from my room at Hotel Alma Domus is the best I have ever had in my life. You pay a few extra euros for a room with a view and a balcony but it is so worth it. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly and this includes the kitchen staff in the breakfast room. Everyone was there to please. I would and will stay here again in a heartbeat.

I have stayed here before (with a study abroad group of students) but I returned to Siena alone this time. This hotel has a friendly staff (even to a group of 50 college students). The rooms are comfortable. The breakfast is a nice selection of fruit and pastries. The location is perfect for getting in and out of the city. The view of the Duomo is stunning!

This hotel seems to be confused about what it wants to be. Apparently the building is from the 1300s, but it lacks charm and character. It's listed as a 1-star property, but the rooms are mostly decorated (and priced) to good three star standards - apart from the tiny TV, the extremely weak and therefore unusable WiFi, and the poorly sound-isolating windows (birds woke me up at 6am). To iron my clothes, I had to use a supply room - I understand irons are not allowed in the rooms due to security reasons, but they could find a nicer place for it. Reception staff is competent but not exactly warm. View from the more expensive rooms is nice, but the balconies are so shallow, you can't do much with them, even one chair will barely fit. Late check out was not possible since the maids work only until 11am...back to 1-star standard. The location is good - about 5 minutes on foot to Piazza del Campo, but close enough to paid and free parking outside the ZTL - it's why I chose this place. This was one of the most expensive hotels on my Tuscany trip, and I can't say it was justified.

Youth hostel type accomodation with hotel prices. Rooms are quite basic. The lounge area doesn’t feel welcoming and you’re not allowed to drink, so it’s hard to sit and relax and have a read. Breakfast was awful, mostly stale cakes, and the only fruit was old, bruised and wrinkly apples. There have been many reviews complaining about the breakfast, the hotel obviously does not care.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, quiet, wonderful view of the cathedral from my window. Breakfast would benefit from some more protein. Lovely breakfast room. Only a short walk to the Piazza del Campo.

We booked this hotel because it was in the center of Siena. The hotel is old except the area of the reception.Next to the hotel there is a sanctuary of Saint Catherine so the hotel was full of monks and old people. The hallways was dark and the living room area was very scary. The rooms was very old especially the bathrooms.I don’t want to talk about the breakfast. The worst breakfast ever!the only positive was the view from our room.Beautiful view facing the old city

We discovered this hotel 2 years ago and when we knew we would be back in Siena, this was our hotel of choice. It is situated close to shops, bars and restaurants yet it feels completely off the beaten track. There are a few steps to negotiate to the hotel, however, take it slowly - the views from most of the rooms are worth it! We stayed in room 8 and the view was sensational. The rooms are a decent size and comfortable, the bathroom was also a good size and the shower was especially good. The air conditioning was welcome in the stifling heat. If carbs are your thing then you will enjoy breakfast, if not then you will struggle with the choices. We took advantage of the valet parking for 50€ and found it excellent, a completely seamless and ultra friendly service worth every penny. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Very clean, close to sites, easy to get to, modern, large rooms and bathrooms, and Louis was fantastic to work with. The views are stunning and look like a postcard. The breakfast is good with choices, but I would add some boiled eggs and turkey or ham just for some protein. Thank you for a great stay! I definitely will book here next time we are in Siena!!
