Stayed here for three nights, it is within walking distance of the bus station and not that far from the train station. We had a small room on the first floor with a king bed. Nice bath and very clean. Front staff was extremely helpful with any questions that we had including directions and places to eat. There is a...

The location of this lovely hotel was excellent, it was close to the Basilica di San Domenico (1 min), 5 minutes distance from Fontebranda and not more than 10 minutes from Piazza del Campo (without stopping to take pictures...). Also it is quite close to the train station, to the bus station and to the bus stop (S3-S10) in case...

Unfortunately, we got the room near the reception and it was noisy. Phone kept ringing, people walking through the corridor, kids being loud. On the other hand, everything was very central and breakfast was great! If you do decide to stay here and you are given room number 7,8 and 9, ask for an upper level. All was clean and...

Nice older hotel. Public areas very beautiful. Rooms not as much, but comfortable and did the job. Note that there is no elevator. We were in attached wing, which meant that after going down hall, we needed to go down some stairs before going up again to reach our room on upper floors. Lots of stairs. Reasonable European style breakfast.

Everything about this hotel was great. We came by bus so it was just 100 m from the bus stop. 15 min walk to all the medieval sites and museums etc of the old city and the old Medici fort just around the corner- great place for a stroll/jog/picnic. Room was spacious with an extra divan; bathroom big enough to...

The rooms we saw were all renovated, which primarily meant the bathroom was new and all the air conditioning units looked new and were quiet. The beds didn't seem new -- we slept in better and worse for the same price-point. These were just so-so. The doors slammed pretty loudly, so if you are a light sleeper and someone arrives...

Hotel location excellent, rooms are very nice and shower was awesome but lack of elevators or portering service was totally inadequate when the room was at the top of numerous flights of stairs and had to haul luggage. The desk clerk insisted on showing us the room and carried half the luggage but no one else available to carry the...

Siena was the highlight of our holiday to Italy during the first half of September 2016. We spent three days in Siena and could have stayed longer in this beautiful and historic town. Siena is in two parts - the old 'centro storico' and the newer city - so if you're intending to visit, do your research before booking accommodation...
