Stayed for 3 night while visiting the area and choose it as it had free parking and also it was a short bus ride into Siena which was great at night time after you had spent the day in the car. The taxi back at night was €9/10 .

Checkin was slow as there was only 1 person on the front desk at 6.30 p.m. which was a little annoying , it seemed to be just bad luck as there was normally 2 persons at other times. Allocated a deluxe room on the 3rd floor which overlooked the front car park and road ( there was no traffic noise)

The room was very spacious as you would expect from a chain hotel , the bed was super comfortable , those great Marriott mattresses ensure you have a perfect night's sleep. Lots of desk space and a separate small table and chair if you needed to work. The AC worked very well and was not too loud , free wifi was good too. Everything felt very clean and sanitized as it should be. There was also 2 complimentary waters which were replaced every day.

Bathroom was a decent size with an excellent shower with gel and shampoo in those dispensers fixed to the wall. Nice towels and again plenty of space to do your business.

Nice pool area which never seemed busy and you could actually swim in it as it was deep and do a few lengths and get some exercise or use the fitness room ( only if you had a green pass )

Breakfast was pretty good , nothing too amazing ( great pear cake ) but due to covid it was still not self service so you had to ask for what you wanted and it was plated up for you. The teas/coffees / waters and juices you could help yourself as well as anything which was prepackaged . Food was fine and enough to start your morning.

Staff were all helpful and friendly & had good English and other languages too I'm sure. You could buy the bus tickets (€1.50) from the front desk as well as get a city map. The bar was very reasonable too if you wanted a quick drink before retiring to your room for the night. I had a lovely time at the 4 Points and glad I stayed here and got to see the delights of Siena and come back at night to comfort and space.

i really enjoy my stay here, we had great breakfast with a delicious Tuscan bread. the room was warm, clan very well updated, for a very cold night and rainy in Sienna, we enjoy the city the hotel got us a taxi to the main entrance of the walled old city center, and was 10-minute ride maybe less, and cost $13 euro, we requested a big car, we return via bus cost 2 1.5 euro per person. The hotel is very comfortable they had a convention running, small but business oriented, also very comfortable for a family. not many restaurants close but we really need t to rest and it was amazing.

Easy parking if you have a car. A car is useful for exploring the wider area but not allowed within Siena so a bus is easy

We arrived by train and took a taxi to the hotel but after that the buses 17 and 77 plus a few others go to pt de sale a close by entrance to the medieval city. Takes about 10 minutes and stops at the railway station on the way

Pool pictures great with loungers, towels and food

Room good, beds comfortable

Breakfast was a solid buffet offering of good quality food and hard to tell it was a Marriott. None of the lower grade offerings we have become accustomed to in Fairfield’s or Hamptons

Bar had decent seating

Evening restaurant staff we friendly as were reception

Having this month been to the Paris opera ambassador, JW Cannes, Meridien Nice and AC Pisa We found this hotel to have great food, a good location and brilliant service and so it got my 5* review

Avoid at all costs. Staff are rude (except Patrizia who is very helpful). They do not follow COVID protocols consistently: I witnessed with my own eyes staff members coming in to breakfast and not using sanitizer and then serving themselves which was against the rules, also witnessed hotel staff and housekeepers on many occasions not wearing a mask or not covering their nose. After mentioning to staff, they did not care. The wifi is terrible. The pool is nice and the dinner in the restaurant is good but service is very slow. It also makes no sense that they won’t let guests serve themselves and use the same serving spoons at breakfast (which is good!) and then they force guests to all touch the same bottles of water for water, instead of bringing water to the table. Unsafe. Also, we were there a week and only one elevator worked.

Unfortunately there were numerous failings that I believe justify this 2 star review; including a leak in the room, no hot food, no wifi and no TV signal. Our stay was not up to the standard one would expect of a 4 star hotel. Initially when we checked into the hotel we were pleased overall. Especially with the entrance / lobby and with our spacious room. However, the reception staff failed to make us aware that during our stay there would be no access to wifi, tv and hot food, which I must say are all a basic human right. We only learned of these failings when we read notices in the elevator and I feel that it is incredibly poor customer service to ignore such huge issues that are guaranteed to dampen a guests stay. The lack of hot food for lunch and dinner made our stay incredibly difficult with our 17 month old son. I am also 6 months pregnant and the reason we chose to stay in a hotel rather than a self catered villa was for the convenient access to food and drink. It is unacceptable to have no hot food on offer for full paying guests, especially in such a remote area of the world where driving is necessary. The lack of wifi caused issues with my work and home life and I have never stayed in another hotel that has no TV signal in the rooms. That was hugely disappointing to us and affected our ability to relax in our room once the baby was asleep. Worst of all we experienced a leak in our room on our first night. The leak came through our ceiling at 1:40am and woke us up. It caused disrupted sleep and anxiety as the noise in the darkness caused me to believe that someone / something was in our room while we were asleep. I contacted concierge via the app and was assured that we would be moved into a different room the following morning. This did not happen. No member of staff ever approached us about the leak. Rather I confronted them at the front desk and was met with a rather rude lady who was dismissive of the issue and said she would send maintenance. As a member I was incredibly disappointed with this stay and as someone who booked 3 separate reservations I was embarrassed that the stay did not meet basic expectations for everyone in my party. I have contacted the hotel since our departure and requested a partial refund / hotel discount at another Marriot as compensation for the aforementioned failings. However, Federica Oliva the Revenue Supervisor has denied my request. I don’t feel as though the hotel have taken accountability for the shortcomings

Dear Gia, we perfectly understand your frustration and we keep apologizing for any inconvenience occurred during your stay, as per all the times already personally done in our email exchange from yesterday. The way the hotel has decided to account anything experienced, was by removing from your billing all extras you had at check out and by offering upon your direct agreement to credit service recovery points directly to your Marriott account. I understand you were possibly expecting something more but it’s not even true we did not do anything. All guests were informed upon arrival about the technical issues involving the entire area where the hotel is situated. Only exception was represented by guests who arrived before we even realized the issue was not temporary and we could not solve it by ourselves, but had to rely on external support. Notice of problems with some services at the hotel were present on lifts and at the restaurant as well. It was not our intention to prevent anybody from use of TV, wifi or hot meals but there was nothing more we could do to try to reduce the impact of such a problem, by letting our guests for instance having only cold meals, instead of nothing at all. Although defined a remote area, Our hotel is just placed in a residential area just 5 km / 10 minutes driving away from the city center and we are definitely not in the middle of nowhere, because away from the countryside. We have direct taxi call therefore there is always an option if someone does not want to use own car. There are a couple of options for eating outside that are very often used by guests who wants to stay close to the hotel, giving the fact that our restaurant could only provide partial service at that moment; not considering delivery options, although mainly for pizza. However I can perfectly understand that giving the presence of a baby and your pregnancy status you were not willing to go outside. The room move was offered by the night auditor as soon as you reported the issue but it was night time and quite uncomfortable for you to move because the baby was sleeping. The day after as soon as you gave ok to our maintenance to access your room, the problem was fixed. There was no additional request for being moved on your behalf, but I can understand you expected our Front Office to follow up with your needs with much more attention. Best regards, Federica Oliva

We would gladly recommend this hotel. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, heating and Ac worked well, and it had all the amenities expected of a Marriott property. Breakfast was good — eggs, bacon, cold cuts, cheeses, breads, cereals (the pancake machine was ok — small and slow). The hotel is some distance from the city center — one can take the bus just outside the hotel, but the last bus back seems to be before 9 pm, so plan accordingly (and the bus operators in Siena were sullen and non communicative). Free parking was a big plus; we were able to leave the rental car there while making our way into town by bus/taxi. Staff helped with taxi calls, which worked well for us.

Stellar hotel and even better staff! We had a four night stay unexpectedly when our other lodging arrangements fell through. We couldn’t have been happier here with the friendly staff, the Covid Safety precautions, the cleanliness of the facility and the comfort of the beds and pillows.

Particularly we got with regard to comfort, both my hubby and I have orthopedic issues and struggle with most accommodations. Staff was willing to go above and beyond to help us be comfortable and were always gracious with any requests we had during your stay. Thanks specially to the very gracious waitstaff in the restaurant.

I rarely write a negative review but we really didn’t enjoy our stay. I did give feedback on an e mail but then received quite a strong response via e mail from Marika highlighting all the reasons why I was wrong.
Marika this was our experience not yours.
The breakfast is mediocre. The fruit selection is bruised pears, melon and pineapple daily. The atmosphere at breakfast is very strained and unfriendly . I also received a “scolding “ when I tried to warm a croissant in the toaster.. something to do with the sugar. Maybe a more friendly approach and explanation and an offer to warm it in the kitchen? This was declined when I asked. The location is poor and despite how Marika will respond it does feel very industrial and isolated . You do need to get taxis everywhere and the reception are very kind and helpful with this. We did put the air conditioning on and it DOES NOT WORK. It will be very stuffy in the summer.
Lastly this is very much a business hotel. We asked for a snack via the app as we were arriving at 11pm. There is no facility for this . I asked for a sandwich on the Sunday lunchtime as we were going to a Wedding at 2pm. We were told there is no facility. This is very poor given its location for a 4 star hotel. Marika wrote to me telling me I was wrong and there were snacks. There were not. Finally if you really want a gym there is 1 cross trainer and 1 treadmill so if it’s busy you will need to wait. This could be improved with a better attitude in the breakfast restaurant, a more friendly response to feedback and room service . I don’t think we would choose it again.

Dear Guest, First of all, I would like to say sorry if your stay at Four Points by Sheraton Siena was not the Marriott International experience you deserve. Providing the highest level of hospitality is our number one priority and I sincerely apologize for failing to meet your expectations. We always work hard in order to maintain the standards of excellence our guests expect and avoiding bad experiences like the one you had. I am sorry you did not appreciate our gym. It perfectly meets Marriott Standards, so I did not understand the reason why you've mentioned it negatively in the review you've left us. Regarding what happened with the staff in our restaurant, it has been my concern to talk to the F&B Manager. I am sorry you had the impression waiters were rude, but this was not their intent. If you needed to warm a croissant or whatever else, you could have asked someone to do so instead of using the toaster. The staff would warmed it for you with pleasure. I would like to highlight it is also specified on the buffet that guests can use the toaster only for bread. Furthermore, you've mentioned our restaurant opening days: Sunday is our closing day (we are usually open only for breakfast on Sundays). Moreover, during your stay, on Sunday 7th of April, we decided you open the restaurant for dinner as we had an event in the hotel so the restaurant was open. However, even if the restaurant is closed, we have a bar which is open from morning until 11 pm and waiters are able to provide cold dishes and sandwiches. Even in this case, you could have asked us to order something and we would have helped you for sure. At the end, it is true we are not in the city centre (I am sure you checked our position when you decided to book a stay at our property, so you knew it in advance) but we are only 2Km away from it, just a 5-10 min bus or taxi ride and Siena offers a wide variety of restaurants/osteria/pizzeria. We are located in a residential area where you can find a pizzeria and a camping with a restaurant as well. Really sorry you decided to penalize us with such a bad review. I hope you will choose to stay with us again when your travels bring you back to the area. It would be great to have a second chance. It was my first stay in this marriott branch.

The hotel is on the outside of town but easely accessible by car and local bus. You can use S7/S03/S10 to travel to the train station or to go directly into the old city.

It is really convenient. The hotel has a huge parking.

The hotel is huge and its was really quiet when I visites siena in November.

The hotel is not brand new but it is well maintained.

The room and bed were huge. Everything was spotless cleaned.

I had a really good relaxing time during my stay.

The wifi was fine.

There TV is good with many Italiens channels and a few foreign ones.

I was impressed by the quality of the restaurant. I found it really tasteful and wished I could have stayed longer to taste all the menu. Bare in mind that there is no other close solution to eat. 

The breakfirst is Ok but not as tasted as the restaurant dishes.

The hotel overall was not so busy in November but I had a feeling that the rooms were not so much soundproof. This was not a problem during my stay but I could hear my neighbor talking over his cellphone.

Overall, I would pick up this hotel if I am back in tuscany.

We recently stayed here for four nights. We appreciated that it was in a quiet area with free parking and free breakfast. They also kept us supplied with water and changed our towels every day. The vanity around the sink is pretty small with not much space to store things. But we made it work. Biggest complaint is that we couldn't figure out how to cool down the room at night. Even though it was cool outside, the room was very hot! Fortunately we found a solution, we just opened the window! The room would cool off into the low 60s at night making it very comfortable to sleep. The bed was very comfortable. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant one night as they're really aren't many options nearby. The hotel is close to the train station but you do have to drive a bit to go to the city center. We parked at the parking garage that has an escalator to help you get to the top. Also near the train station is a large Coop grocery store, but be advised that there is no microwave in the room.

Overall, we had a great experience and would stay here again.

Hotel was very helpful with ordering a taxi. We took it to the train station because we wanted to try the escalator to get into town. On the way back we grabbed a taco from a taxi stand. Pretty straightforward
