This is an excellent hotel. We were greeted at the reception by a very friendly and helpful woman. She even gave us a quick run down of the sites of Siena and a map. The view from the patio looking up to the hill of Siena is stunning. They allow you to eat your own food and drinks on the...

Two of us spent 3 nights at Albergo Bernini which far exceeded our expectations especially considering the price. We rate it as the best place we stayed on our 15 day Italy/Switzerland trip. Danielle and her daughter Carlotta were wonderful hosts. We had a great view of Siena from our room. Not all rooms have a view. It is very...

I stayed here with a friend back in May for 2 nights at the end of our 3 week trip to Europe and it was fabulous! We dealt with Carlotta mostly and she was so warm and welcoming, she made sure we had everything we needed to feel like we are at home. The place itself was beautiful, very quaint....

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We had a fairly large room with a great view of the city. The staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean. They also offered free WiFi which was a plus. There was a very nice patio off of the hotel which also offered a view of the city if your...

I chose Albergo Bernini because Rick Steves uses it in one of his travel shows. It was a great place to stay, we stayed an extra day because we liked Siena so much, also they will help you with setting up tours, renting cars etc. The Hotel provides guests with a very nice souvenir map. 1. Albergo Bernini is in the ideal location, within the city walls and within easy walking distance to the main sights (Siena is small enough to do on foot) but a short walk from the main bus station and a supermarket. We stayed in a double room with shared bathroom, but this was not a problem as there are three bathrooms:...

The host Daniella and her daughter were so welcoming. As soon as we arrived Daniella took us around the hotel and led us to our room. The terrace view from the hotel was probably one of the best views in Siena. We managed to get a room with a bathroom in it, which we loved. Most rooms seemed to not...

Highly recommend for both solo and non-solo travelers. Single bedroom had enough room for 2 beds. There were 3 bathrooms for 4 rooms on the floor. Owners are 3 sisters who were very helpful and accommodating. A nice size breakfast is included for 7 euros which you could eat on the terrace. 3-5 minute walk to "Il Campo". Cheap Wifi...

We recently celebrated a one year anniversary of our trip to Italy, and the place that we remember with the fondest of memories is Albergo Bernini's hotel in Siena. Whether it was the central location, the kindness of Carlotta and the staff, the white gossamer curtains blowing in the night breeze, the church bells waking us in the morning or...

Albergo Bernini has 2 wonderful assets: the wonderful hostess Daniela, and the best view ever of Siena!! When we arrived in Siena and entered the Albergo Bernini, we were greeted by the ever-so-friendly Daniela, and we immediately felt at home. Then we saw the views from the parlor window and the terrace, and we fell in love with the old-world...
