We stayed here briefly in August whilst travelling around Tuscany for my sisters wedding, and it was me favourite stop. The location and the view from the pool is absolutely stunning. It's also a very short walk into one of 'doors' through the wall into town that we enjoyed taking both day and night. The vibe around the hotel was always welcoming and homely and the staff were fantastic. The family running the hotel were so warm to us from the second we arrived to the moment we checked out and treated us like family. When we were stressed sorting taxis out at the time of leaving, they served us some wine to cheer us up! Our room was cosy and it was always a pleasure sitting in the lounge for a coffee and breakfast, I felt completely relaxed our entire stay and my only regret is that we did not have more time here. I hope we come back some day!

We stayed here for one night. Having previously stayed in a hotel with no air conditioning, I was over joyed at how good the air con was in my room. The room was basic and a little tired but was clean and had everything I needed. The pool area is well looked after and the pool is a great size. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. They allowed us to use the pool after checking out without any additional charges. The location of this hotel is everything. The view is gorgeous and it’s a short walk to the centre. I recommend this hotel and hope to be back one day.

Two weeks ago, we stayed at this hotel. Initially, we booked two nights. When we booked, we specifically booked a refurbished room. The other rooms were very outdated. When we arrived, the owner gave us an 'upgrade'. Ofcourse, we ended up in one of the rooms that wasn't refurbished. We asked why, but she kept saying it was an upgrade because of the new air-conditioning. We didn't see this as an upgrade, but there was nothing to do about it. We decided to just accept it, but when we inspected the room further, it got worse. The bed was like sleeping on the floor, the bathroom was old, and the shower was full of mold. We had no choice to stay that night because it was already evening. The next morning, we went and complained, but she got very defensive. We told her we were leaving because of the old room and the mold. She knew about the mold in the bathroom, but she didn't care. Not even an apology. She kept talking over us, and even said she was glad we left. I get that it's hard to receive critique, but you are working in a service business. I would be ashamed if someone came to tell me there was mold in the bathroom. Overall experience was an old, outdated hotel that doesn't deliver what is promised on the website. If you sell refurbished rooms (like its explicitly says on the website), give your costumers refurbished rooms.

We stayed here in 2019 and as we were back in Siena it was a no brainer to stay here again. The hosts are superb, so helpful and friendly. The hotel itself has been given a bit of a spruce up and i better than before. The location is everything, so convenient to walk into the centre of Siena and the views from the rooms are stunning. If we return to Siena again we'll stay here for certain.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The location is perfect and the view from the pool, restaurant and our room was amazing! Breakfast was good. We loved the pool and the staff was lovely. A negative thing was the design of the room and public spaces. All a bit outdated... could use an update. Also our bathroom was very tiny and smelled a bit strange. But would still recommend a stay.

The best Italian hotel experience so far. Amazing hosts, the’re superfriendly and help in everything. The pool are has a breathtaking view to the city. The breakfast is excellent, great pastries, coldcuts and coffee. The rooms are also great, simple, but everything we needed. Very comfortable. Parking place alwqys available for free. The inner city is around 15minutes walk

Nice hotel within a short walk to one of the gates of the city. The welcome from the staff member at reception was nice and we were given a map with directions to the city and possible restaurants in the city for dinner. We had a superior room, (room 51), which I felt was quite small and had an empty fridge, no tea or coffee making facilities, I felt this was poor for a superior room. The bathroom was dated and quite small. We did have a small balcony with a magnificent view of the city wall and the skyline of the city. Swimming pool was a good size and seating area was good. I am not sure if they provide towels for the pool area. We weren’t told this and there wasn’t anyone to ask at the time. There is a bus into the city that you can get from just inside the gate, ticket can be bought in the tobacco shop just outside the gate. The city is hilly but not excessive.

Room Tip: Parking at the hotel is a bonus. Road into the city is a little busy and a very narrow pavement.

We wanted to see Siena by night on our way to room . Booked here . Room was not big but cost , small balcony with a beautiful view ( morning view was fantastic ) . Had its own car park and walk into town wasn't too long . Morning breakfast was served due to Covid restrictions but waiter was polite and I asked for cheese and ham 3 times and was bought it without any problems. Will definitely return

We stayed at the hotel following at short notice, as sadly the hotel we were meant to be staying at could not accommodate us. We booked online and messaged the hotel and they replied and were so so helpful and put our minds at rest. I then realised I had messed up the booking and said we would be arriving on the Sunday rather than the Monday! This was no problem as not only did the hotel amend the booking, they gave us a refund for that night without me even asking! The lady on reception, I think her name was Melissa, was so warm and kind. We actually said thank you to her with a bottle of prosecco because she made things so easy, when they could have been very stressful for us. I think the lady on reception runs the hotel with her father, which is a nice touch. The hotel itself, is clean and tidy. We had lovely rooms with a small balcony overlooking Siena. This was a lovely bonus! The pool area was spotless, we didn't actually end up using the pool as we spent our time sightseeing, but it did look very inviting. The breakfast was lovely, with coffee and orange juice. It was the perfect way to start the day. There is also a nice bar area to sit and have a drink, or relax. The walk into Siena is further than you may initially think and some of it is uphill, this was no issue at all for us. Especially as there are taxis on hand and reception can have one for you in a couple of minutes. In total, it may be about a 15-20 minute walk to the centre. This has it's advantages, as the car park is spacious and free, and the views of the countryside are lovely. We will definitely stay here again if we stay in Siena.

On the good side, we chose this hotel because of the pool and that was fine. We had rooms with a balcony and a good view towards the city. Breakfast was ok. But on the bad side, the walk into and back from town is unpleasant, takes about 15 minutes and is through a rather dark and run-down area. Also each time we came back from the city at about 10:00pm the whole place was shut - no staff anywhere, which was a bit creepy.
