I was pleasantly surprised by La Perla in Siena. The hotel is simple and minimal but incredibly clean and friendly. It is great value for money. The room I had (14) was neat, tidy, clean and comfortable. All the staff I encountered during my stay were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in the historic centre of Siena and... More

I love the location, it's in the center of the city. Hotel staff very friendly but the bathroom super tiny and if you want to take shower you would make a mess out of the room. The towels and the room had a weird smell.

Location really killed it here. Very solid room, average cost, and a staff that let me do a video interview in the reception room. 4/5 because the WiFi everywhere else was too shotty. Really close to most of sienas attractions too.

This little hotel is quite nice and located literally only two minutes walk from the main piazza, the Ocampo. The rooms are spartan but have all the necessities: comfortable beds with quality linens, bedside tables with reading lights, a full length mirror, and at least one chair and workspace. Although the bath was one of the smallest I have seen... More

Great the location, the people at the reception and above all great Siena! We really enjoyed our staying, the hotel is right behind where they celebrate the Palio so we were in the middle of the Contrada(s) support manifestation which made our stay even more lively than we thought! Air conditioning in the room and picturesque view from the window.... More

Hotel La Perla, and Raymond specifically, saved our weekend trip to Siena! After having our reservation canceled at the last minute by Hotel Centrale (for unknown reasons) we were able to find two rooms at La Perla. Both rooms were very nice with excellent air conditioning. The "attic loft' room had a panoramic view of Siena and was at the... More

This hotels best feature is that it is about a three minute walk from Il Campo, Siena's beautiful seashell shaped square. We were helped by Raymond, who was very friendly and informative. The beds were really clean and comfortable. No free breakfast, but we got a discount at a local bar to buy coffee, croissants, etc. I wish we could... More

La Perla was a delightful little place to stay. Location inside the walls of Sienna with only two streets away from the arena where the Palio horse race is held. When we got tired it was great to walk back for a rest. Taxi bay close by and coaches terminal a 4 minute walk.. There is no breakfast but that... More

It is located near to the Cathedral and near to Piazza del Campo. The staff is very polite and helpful. Wifi internet was very slow. Smallest bathroom ever! Bed was OK, cleanliness levels good. Free parking is quite far (at least 1km, paid parking is possible about 800m from the hotel).

As, you walk into the receptionist room the seemed to be a funny smell, I think it was cats, so if your allergic to cats don't take the front room. The location is great. It is in a quiet area. We stayed in the big room that was off of the receptionist area. Nice view of the courtyard. The beds... More
