This hotel is very clean and the rooms were nice. Some would say bathroom was small but all European bathrooms are small. Nice shower. Very nice and professional staff. Saw some negative reviews, but it must matter if you get an updated room. Would definitely stay here again. Great location!!

This hotel was a friendly and comfortable place from which to explore Assisi. My room had been recently remodeled and was quite nice. It is a two minute walk to the Basilica. BEST feature is a roof terrace overlooking the Basilica - you can bring up a glass of wine or beer and watch the sun set over Assisi and... More

The best thing about this hotel - a great location right beside the Basilica of Saint Francis, where he happens to be buried. There is also a nice roof garden with great views. However, the bedroom and bathroom are very small. The A/C did not work very well. The place is fine for a night or two, but you would... More

This hotel is very dated and not comfortable. Rooms and bathrooms are extremely small. A/C was pretty much non-existent. Mattress uncomfortable. No room in the bathroom for toiletries being used for showering or grooming. Stayed here with a Globus tour. Highly recommend they utilize a different hotel in the area. Had a 4th floor room and heard people on the... More

The hotel was very welcoming and friendly, especially the reception staff. The room was newly renovated to a very high standard. The roof terrace overlooking the Basilica gave wonderful views around the city. I would return to this hotel on my next trip to Assisi.

The location of the hotel is right around the corner from the duomo and that can be a bonus, but the view from our bedroom window looks out to a street and at night there is a spotlight blaring in the window all night long. Very annoying. Closing the shutter made it stuffy. The shower is a very odd mini... More

This hotel is located directly accross from the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi in the quaint town of Assisi. The hotel is a tourist 3 stars, 4 floors, very old and in need of very serious upgrades, the rooms are very small so is the bathroom. Furniture has seen better days, I understand trying to preserve the character and... More

I stayed with my family and was very pleased with this little hotel... it is not a luxury place but it is right in front of St Francis Basilica, big and extremely clean room and bathroom, the place is old but really well kept and Massimo and Sandra at the front desk are really friendly and helpful, also the breakfast... Probably was last updated in the 80's. Rooms traditional and simple, basic comfort. Great roof terrace. Simple Italian breakfast. But the location is great and our room had a great view. None if this matters if you don't spend time in the hotel.

Booked triple room. Advised hotel one of our party was disabled. Couldn't swing a cat in the allocated room. Had to walk around door to get to toilet. Totally unsuitable for two never mind Three persons. Beds close together. We tried moving two chairs onto landing to make more room. Still no room for suitcases. When we asked for better... More
