THE FACTS First the positives, for fairness: (*) Nice bulding (monastry) architecture and entrance decor; (*) Corteous welcome and checkout personnel, and polite attendance at the bar; (*) Nice-looking breakfast, although little care for vegetarians and Vegans [eggs in contact with meat; no indication of which products were free of animal products/fats etc] (*) Good service and nice food at...

Our family of five spent a weekend at this wonderful hotel. Our room was perfect and had a beautiful view over the hills of Gubbio with a window that opened wide. The indoor swimming pool is fabulous and a great way to spend an afternoon - the spa is great too with the therapists and services all very good. The...

We loved this hotel. The staff were all welcoming, warm and very friendly. The rooms were very comfortable and nicely sized. Out our window was a beautiful view of olive trees on one side and the Umbrian hills on the other. Big wide hallways led to an amazing spa and huge indoor pool. Breakfasts were delicious, many choices and well...

This is a lovely hotel with an amazing indoor swimming pool. The hotel is about ten minutes walk from the old part so great to be able to leave the car in the spacious car park and just walk in. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good with a wide selection of items to choose from.

We stayed 6 nights here in October, it was very nice and although a 15 minute walk out of the centre of town is still in a good position. The staff and service were good but it is quite a large modern hotel which was very empty, we hardly ever bumped into another guest. As a base to see the...

We were there in late October, so it was very quiet. A beautiful hotel, converted from a convent, so it is quite spacious. We had a cooking class in the working kitchen, enjoyed the pool and spa, and had several meals there in our 3 days there. They could not have nicer or more accomodating. The area is beautiful and...

The hotel is set in an old convent and is a really interesting building with lots of little courtyards and areas to relax in. There is a lovely reception area and a lounge with an open fire which must be lovely in the wintertime. The food was really good. We had breakfasts and a dinner on one evening, where they...

Hotel Ai Cappuccini is the perfect base to discover Northern Umbria and the beautiful towns nearby, such as Gubbio - a hidden gem. Easy to access from the highway, but tucked away in a park (just like the name says), the hotel combines history and charm with all modern amenities. Very friendly, caring staff and spacious rooms. Loved lunch at...
