Perfectly located, nice modern feel, safe and good parking, friendly reception staff, beautiful rooms with excellent room temperature (good beds), no neighbours noise; only breakfast staff took the whole Covid measures a bit too over the top to my liking , but understand it as well. Super deal for what you pay.

A hotel for a night with a parking garage near to the centre, you can walk downtown in 20 minutes. Room are clean and breakfast is ok. Nice service. The price is a little too high for the hotel, but Basel is a expensive town

Hi All, Bar was open in the height of COVID and now closed as an excuse because of the pandemic (means we can’t make enough money) No food available in the fridge not even snacks at reception. Far better options for 150 chf a night. Stay elsewhere to get a service not offered for the money as Accor group look to make money back. Enjoy Basel but not here. Stew

We stayed for two nights in December for a pre-Christmas visit. Even with just hand luggage it was a longer trek from the main railway station than it looked on the map - about 15 minutes or so. But once you check in you get your Basel Card which gives you free travel on public transport, so makes it easy to get around as the nearby tram is quite frequent. Check in was straight forward, and we received a great welcome from the receptionist, he even remembered my name throughout our short stay. The room was quite small as is usual for Ibis hotels, but very practical with almost everything you need. A very comfortable bed with a fluffy, warm duvet, TV with lots of international channels, a small wardrobe just sufficient for clothes for 2,3 days. I was looking for the desk mentionned in the room description, but there was only a shelf along the wall, and a very small round glass coffee table. There was absolutely nowhere to sit except on the bed which was disappointing. Wifi was excellent. The bathroom was ok, although it took us a while to figure out the shower workings. A continental breakfast buffet was included in the room rate and was more than adequate, although,as someone else mentionned, one would have expected a better variety of cheeses. There were also scrambled eggs for those wanting a hot breakfast. There is a small bar in the lobby with reasonable rates and a nice drinks selection, very convenient for a nightcap. All in all, a very nice Ibis and great value.

about 7 Minutes walk away from Basel SBB Central station. Rooms were equipped with everything you need, WiFi was fast and w/o interruptions. Breakfast was good too, maybe some more Swiss cheese would be nice ;-) .Check-in was quick, and a Basel Card for each Occupant are part of the City Tax paid separately.
