Arguably in the most strategic spot in Basel, yet in a relatively quiet street, with great restaurants and bars around. The hotel reception and staff are most welcoming, and the breakfast buffet is deliciously sophisticated. The rooms are spacious and the showers are the best I ever tried.

I stayed two nights in this wonderful and modern hotel. For me is very important to book the hotel in the center of the city because I love to go walking to the main places, just 5 minutes walking to Marktplatz (city hall) In the hotel you will find a great and helpful staff but in my opinion the best...

We needed a one night stay in Basle and after the hospitality in a traditional Swiss ski village, we wanted modern functionality. D. Hotel has it all, great location with easy access from railway station on tram #11, walking distance from river and old town centre shopping and restaurants. Loved the immaculate modern designed bedrooms with excellent showers in bathrooms,...

Couldn't be easier to get to, with trams and buses nearby and the Marktplatz a five minute stroll away. Modern and clean: comfy room and divine shower, warm and all things to hand (except perhaps could do with tea/coffee making facilities). Staff exceptionally helpful. We benefitted from three days 'free' public transport too just by staying which is very good...

The hotel is clean and well located, the rooms are of a good size and with very good modern bathrooms. For a business hotel I thought there was a shortage of electric points so charging mobiles and laptops was an issue. Beware need to have the modern swiss 3 pin adapter. WiFi was good strong signal. My breakfast was included...

The property is in the middle of the city and 50m away from the nearest tram stop and 10 minutes walking from the river. The room is small but cozy. The breakfast is average though. The good thing is that you get a free travel pass for the public transport in the city.
