Room was tidy and clean and provided you everything you need for your stay. Minibar was included and hotel reception provided me ticket to the public transport during my stay. Reception was fast and willing to help you with everything. Breakfast - good quality food with different selection. I especially liked the several butter choices (Lactose free, bio and sheep)....

My room was large, sunny and extremely comfortable. For business users coming from other countries (like me) there are European style plugs which were of great value for using the Laptop in the room (normal Swiss style plugs are also plentiful). Mini bar is free and it's replenished each two days. Decent tea selection. Breakfast is good and has great...

I had an overnight business trip in Basel with a bit of time to explore and this was a great location - 20 min max from the airport, central next to all trains / trams / buses, 5 minute jog to the downtown part of Basel and 10 min to the river. The staff was lovely, the rooms were cosy...

I have stayed at the Gaia a number of times, and I love the clean rooms with modern furnishing, the polite and helpful staff, and the excellent location. Gaia is just to your right as you exit the Basel railway station (SBB). The tram station is nearby and so is the airport shuttle stop. Reaching any point in Basel and...

I stayed at the GAIA hotel recently for a weekend stay with my wife (this was our second time there). The location is conveniently across from the main railway station and next to the tram stop that will allow you to reach most places in Basel. Our room on the top floor was very quiet, clean, spacious and comfortable. Small...

Friendly and efficient staff, lovely clean bedroom, excellent bathroom, complimentary mini bar, and gorgeous breakfast. All within a short walk of the railway station and tram stop to the city centre. Hope to return!

The room although small was very nice, and the artistic touches throughout the hotel made my morning walk downstairs very pleasant. Hotel staff was very nice. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to transportation.

Stay 3 nights (Eco room) in this hotel. Room is not big but is clean and quiet. Staffs here are all very friendly and willing to provide help to meet our needs. Breakfast is really good. Staying here is quite pleasant and satisfactory. We will definitely choose GAIA again when we get another chance to visit Basel in the future.

The location is perfect! It is right off the SBB train so you can get anywhere, more or less in Europe. It is close to the city center and just an overall easy place to get to. It is very quiet and the rooms are all modern and comfortable. The breakfast is also amazing!! Highly recommend for your stay in...

The hotel is clean and near a lot of public transportation. The breakfast was good. The rooms and bathrooms are small but if that doesn't bother you, then it'll be fine. Beds were twin size for a single person room but were comfortable so I didn't mind since I'm not a big person.
