Very nice boutique hotel, perfect for business travelers looking for no hassle and total service. Staff understands true hospitality and is a best in class example of what I have seen so far. Central location.

Stayed in St.Gotthard couple of times and each time I feel myself at home. Staff is very friendly and generously helping in any matter. Rooms are spacious and spotless clean. Room amenities, breakfast and the location are excellent. As a downside, there is no ironing board + iron in the room and if you need to stay for business several...

Rooms are very comfortable, staff is helpful and polite, breakfast is exceptional and has lots of options. The hotel is very well places close to the train station and not far from the city center which can be reached by tram or by foot if you can walk 0.7 miles.

Spent one night there last week and it was the perfect place. Right next to the train station, they were able to let me check in early so I could lie down for an hour after traveling from the US overnight. Breakfast the next day was generous. Quiet room and helpful staff. I will return.

The location of the hotel is perfect. You can reach everywhere easily by tram and bus that is very near to the hotel. The reception staff were very kind and helpful. Especially, the restaurant staff who talks each guest every morning by one by , was the best I have ever seen. And the breakfast was perfect also.

The St Gotthard hotel is well located opposite the station, just round the corner from the busy square. We asked for a quiet room, which we got, and our room was fairly spacious, certainly larger than the standard rooms. A nice touch was a free minibar containing water, soft drinks and a beer - it's not replenished but enough for...

Very nice hotel, good wifi, nice breakfast, 1 min walk from train station. The room was lovely and the mini bar was free of charge (or, at least, included in the room rate). The reception and restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly. The TV had all the UK main channels (ITV, BBC, etc)

A very comfortable hotel in a central location, with train station and tram stops nearby. The staff are great and very helpful. The breakfast choice is wonderful and there are free soft drinks and coffee in the rooms. I always stay here when in Basel on business.

This charming hotel just opposite the main Basel train station was delightful. A warm, welcoming staff greets you right from the moment you walk in. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable, and clean with free Wi-Fi! The complimentary breakfast buffet more than satisfies, and the sun coming up through the stained glass windows in the dining room only adds to...
