We are a family of 3 (A couple and a 3 yo toddler). We initially reserved a Vista Deluxe Room which had a king bed and a day bed. The paints on the walls are already bubbling and needs to be redone badly. Even the ceiling itself looks so dirty and has water marks. We were very

The Hotel Basilisk is located in a lively part of Basel just a relatively short tram ride from the main train station. Many of the tourist attractions can be reached on foot or by the excellent bus and tram system which operates in Basel. Anybody staying in a hotel in Basel

To my knowledge this hotel does not provide free airport shuttle, you have to take a taxi from Basel-Mulhouse airport.

You need a two pronged adaptor. Switzerland uses three pronged plugs/sockets, but two pronged plugs work just fine ; as well as in other European countries, except for the UK

"Ask for a room not looking on the street with trams if you like to have open window"
"Corner road facing suites are the best options"
"Ask for one of the double rooms on the front corner"
"Do not take rooms at end of corridors, are smaller."
"Don't get a room near the elevator. It is the noisiest area. Also, ask about the room when you book. They are so varied in size. Ask for a larger one that is quieter. We were on the 1st floor, but I imagine the upper floors are quieter."
