We are staying at the Hotel Pax and love it. The man at the front desk is incredibly helpful, even storing our diet cokes for us in the fridge. Breakfast had fresh bread, cereal, crissonts and juice. It is very easy to get anywhere in the city from the hotel in just a few minutes, especially since the hotel provides... More

The hotel was a bit worn. It had large old fashion styled house room. It might get to us if we said for long but for a quick trip in an expensive city it had good location, helpful door man (that was the total of the staff), and cheap. Get what you pay for I guess. Make sure you ask... More

A very large room with super high ceilings : this is evidently an old building with some charm but it truly needs renovation, with the exception of the bathroom facilities which were clean and probably renewed recently. The rest, however, was rather old and decrepit, the carpeting was filthy. Breakfast is OK in the continental style. No computer service for... More

Bad, bad, bad! Terribly old fixtures and furniture. Staff is the worst that I have encountered in recent memory. Could not be more unhelpful and rude. I would have walked out of the hotel if I were there for more than a day. The hotel was a horrible start to our Swiss trip. I'm sure there are better hotels in... More

This was the first hotel I found and decided to stay. An excellent, comfortable place. Wi-Fi also worked very well.

The hotel is only saved by cleanliness. The service is basic and the breakfast limited. Geneva really needs to look at it's tourist industry in terms of value for money. The city is nice and the transport and climate is very good, however the cost of a decent hotel would make your eyes water.

The Hotel is located 10-15 minutes in the tram from main station, 5 minutes walk to the fountain. Staff was lovely and helpful, the room is comfortable and clean. The breakfast is great and full of options. Geneva is a very expensive town and this hotel offers a lot for the price you pay. I would certainly stay there again.... More

We chose this hotel because of the price and the name. The staff were friendly, helpful, kind. The room was great, big, nice bathroom, slightly worn, but clean. The problem was the smoke! Despite signs at the front door and in our room, the smell of smoke was overwhelming. Opening the window helped a bit, but in the morning I... More

Our intention was to get a hotel for sleeping purposes only, we planned to be out and about all day. This place will do that job. It will be noisy on weekdays if your room faces the main street and you leave the window open. One bed had a stain on the sheet and the other had a small hole... More
