this place is FUNCTIONAL and works perfectly. by this i mean it is dated and the bare minimum, but it is clean, safe and affordable. i stayed in a single dorm, there were two toilettes, two showers and one kitchen for that side of the building (shared amongst about 8 single dorms). the cafeteria by reception serves a good selection of...

If I could give 0 stars, I would. When I first arrived, I received a bed to set up. After setting it up,a cockroach crawled up from under the bed. I went to reception to complain and was told to fill out a form. No one did anything although I wad told that someone would get back to me. All...

I recently stayed here for about 2 months. The main benefit is that it is well serviced by the buses (the number 3 and 21 buses stop very regularly). It can be quite noisy due to activity on the floors and those playing volley ball. My room had an amazing view looking towards the mountains. My main criticism is towards...

Stayed here for 2 weeks with two friends while we attended a student conference in Geneva. The 3 of us stayed in a very spacious studio apartment in Building A with 3 beds, a full kitchen (oven, stove, fridge, freezer, sink), and private bathroom (shower, toilet, sink). Wifi worked just fine. Linens, towels, and toilet paper are provided. We had...

I went to Geneve for a one week summer school and the organizing committee advised us to get accommodation in this place. I stayed in the building A, which is the main building with the main reception. On the first sight the place does not look too appealing. The building looks quite old (I guess built in 70's or 80's)...

- The bathrooms are shared and are disgusting, and they don't put soap at the bathroom sink. Staff members RANDOMLY enter your room without permission. - The rooms are the size of a walk-in closet. - The bed was broken when I arrived. It squeeks and it collapsed under me while I was asleep (I weigh 150lbs/70 kilos), I put...

I stayed in a single room for 3 weeks and it was worth the money. everything is expensive in geneve, so you cannot expect a cheap price, but this dormitory is definitely worth considering. there are 3 buildings and i stayed in building C. there is a lift to each level so no worries about heavy luggage. rooms are spacious...

Our room had one bed to set up, turns out it was broken - tried to get a new one. The woman at the reception said we should go away (in a very angry tone). Turns out - this place doesnt even provide a bed.. yes, it is cheap.. but really? If you have the choice- dont stay there. its...

The Cité consists of three buildings where the tallest is about 13 floors. I stayed in building C so therefore I can only speak of the quality from this building. My room was on the 6th floor (yes there are elevators) and therefore I head a really great view to the Salève mountain from the common room/kitchen. My room was...

Pros: Cheep(but at the same prices there are other more central places), basic and well connected with the center of Geneva by bus. There are kitchens, refrigerators...The view is wonderful from some rooms(from mine, by example:))) Cons: rather destroyed....the door of the room was cracked, as well as the sink. The WC is on the hall and usually crowded in...

“If you can choose a single room, I had a room in building A, second floor facing the bus stop. There was a lot of light at night (curtains helped), but in the morning there was no sun so this is good for late sleepers.”

“building c is the farthest away from reception, and also opposite a playschool i think? there are children running about in the afternoon so if you want peace and quiet, perhaps ask for building A.”
