Place was generous with the cutlery in the kitchen, also well equipped with washing machine/ dryer. The rooms were big and roomy. Pillows can be sturdier for more neck support and perhaps 1 more bathroom would be better for families above 5 pax. (We had 7 ) . The views from the rooms were fabulous. Overall a very pleasing experience for our 3 nights there.

Beautiful location and a short walk from the train station and cable car to Mt Titlis. We actually stayed in December 2019 but I kept forgetting to write our review. Our apartment was lovely, spacious and clean, perfect for our family of 5. Friendly welcoming. I hope we will be able to return in the future. We were lucky enough to get snow too!

One the best resorts that ever stayed in.
I visited the resort 2 times in 2019, first was in April for 2 weeks and the second one was during August which I still remember the good time spent over there.
My appreciation for the resort management and the hospitality of the staff.
Thank you very much

We stayed there for 4 nights from 18-22 June 2015 in apartment no. 415.

Firstly the resort is closed from 10:00am to 02:30pm. So if u reach by day 11 u have to wait outside till 02:30pm.

In fact we had to wait outside in heavy rain with no place for shelter. The resort did not inform about this policy during reservation.

Then only 1 garbage bag is complimentary irrespective of length of ur stay. After that even garbage bags are paid.

U have to trash ur own garbage in recycle area which is a good walk from the apartments.

Further while leaving the apartment u have to even clean all utensils, sweep the entire floor.

The WiFi was not working in our room. We had to go downstairs to access WiFi.

If by any chance u loose a room key, then u have to pay CHF 20 per key i.e. about 20 Euros per key.

U r also made to sign a declaration for all above points as if u r entering a jail and not a holiday resort.

The COOP Store which is the only grocery store nearby is about 5 km from this apartment.

Result - prefer staying on the road than this apartment. I guess u wud be subject to lesser terms and conditions in the latter case.

Response from TITLIS_Hotels, Manager at Titlis Resort
Responded 14 Aug 2015
Dear Sir Thank you for your review. For us it is important and useful to receive every guest’s feedback. First of all, we are very sorry that you didn’t get to enjoy your holidays at the TITLIS Resort apartments. The WiFi should work in every apartment; there must have been a technical problem at that time. Our reception is on site to report matters like this. Outside of operating hours of the reception our guests can also call the office. At the TITLIS Resort apartments we offer groceries bring in service for all of our guests. It is also possible to even order Indian food. When it comes to a renting of a holiday apartment, there are different cultural norms and diverse expectations, since our guests travel from all over the world. We are aware of the fact that other cultures have different standards. We try to strike a balance, which satisfies all the needs of our guests. We also receive a lot of positive feedbacks from our international guests. It is very sad that we couldn’t make you feel happy. Once again, we apologize for the inconveniences and hope you could enjoy other aspects of your holiday in Engelberg. Best regards

Titlis resort is good if you expect no service whatsoever.
The location is good right opposite the cable car station to go to the Titlis glacier, about 10 minutes walk from the station, and from the lake. The apartments are quite clean, and beautiful with beautiful views of the mountains.
The negatives are:
The reception was only working for a very short time in the day, and not very helpful while they were there. Our daughter had an asthma attack in the evening and we had an emergency. We had to get to a doctor and the lady at the emergency number given was extremely rude and unhelpful. She said she would give us the doctors number only if I gave her my credit card details and they would charge about 125 CHF before we could even speak to the doctor. Our daughter could barely breathe and was really sick... As it was an emergency I requested the girl at the emergency number to get me a doctor on the phone and she said "lady I am not your receptionist"! Forget professionalism...it was sheer lack of basic human values.
We finally called up the reception of another hotel owned by an Indian gentleman, and that lady gave us the number of the doctor. We spoke to the doctor and he was a true gentleman and a savior for us in time of need. He guided us on the phone all the time and finally asked us to meet him in the night when the situation got worse.
The resort would not even call for a taxi for us at night to take us to the doctor.
Another stranger came forward as our savior...the person who supplied us food from a restaurant...he agreed to drive us to the doctors late in the night. Finally we could take our child to the doctor and he treated her and all was well. But our stay at the Titlis will always be remembered for how poor the service was when we really needed it in an emergency. Better stay at a hotel with a reception if you are travelling with kids or the elderly.
If anyone needs more details, please message me.

Quick Review:
1. Travelled with a family of 13 with 2 senior citizens. Train changing from Zurich to Lucerne and Lucerne to Engelburg was very comfortable.
2. Resort is very close to Engelburg Railway Station and right opposite to Mount Titlis Cable car.
3. Check in was smooth and we were mentally prepared to follow the Resort Rules.
4. Coop is a supermarket which is not so close to the resort as your travel agents would tell you. It takes good 20 mins walk from the resort to reach the supermarket.
5. The civil inhabitants around the resort could get pretty rude if you are loud at night.
6. We travelled in train through Euro Rail pass to Lucerne, Zurich, Bern and Jungfrau. Apart from Zurich and Lucerne we were absolutely tired to travel through train to bern and Jungfrau.
7. You could get ready to eat food from India if you plan to stay at Titlis resort as they provide with all the basic amenities for cooking. Coops supermarket too has ready to eat food but Switzerland over all is very very expensive so carrying ready to eat food would be a good idea.
8. The staff of the resort were always kind and helpful.
9. We travelled in May assuming it would be cold in Engelburg but it was not cold at all. You can skip carrying couple of jackets if that is your period of travel.
10. Overall an excellent and quiet place to stay and enjoy with family. Would love to visit again

Really Amazing location! We had rented a 3 bedroom flat and the rooms were really spacious, clean and well equipped - it came with a washing machine, dryer, ovens, clothes racks, plates, spoons, forks, electric 4 burner stove, knives, glasses the works! All the comforts of home. The only thing we didn't have in the flat was a microwave. Located at the base of Mount Titlis (few minutes walk to the cable cars going to the top) the view from the rooms was amazing! There's a stream running right next to the property which adds to its scenic beauty. Its a 10 minute walk away from the railway station and there's a bus stop right outside. I highly recommend this to any traveler visiting Engleberg! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there!

We met someone who lives next door. She said this resort is new built for 2-3 years ago. No wonder to see the buildings' design. We (4 adults and 5 kids) lived in House 1 next to house 2 for 5 days. It has a "Heizbodenheizung" which makes the floor so warm. We were satisfied living there. A modern kitchen with fondue bowl, Raclette machine, Toast maker, orange juice presser, water boiler, Kitchen utensils....
We enjoyed walking around the area with free shuttle buses (No 2,3 and 5) from Sunmatte station, which is just few steps from our House 1 and skiing in Titlis sport which is just 5 minutes walk.
Just remember to bring baking paper, garbage blue plastics, tabs for washing Dishes machine and washing machine or you can buy them at the reception with double-triple price each.
To buy dairy products, just take a free bus and go to Coop in town.
There is a deposit room near the garage on underground. We can keep our ski shoes etc. there. It's not far from the short cut to the bus stop, Titlis resort station (from Titlis Sport we can take buses 2,3,5 to go to Titlis resort).
Behind the station is the garbage room. Remember to manage them in proper bins; glass, bottles (no refund), cans, plastic...there is a cctv there.
Parking price is 12 CHF/ night. Our SUV car with a roof box were saved parking there. I think the max height is 2,30 m.
Ow. Don't loose any chips as the house key around all Titlis area (house door, garage door, exit door, deposit door). It costs 20CHF if you don't return it back to the receptionist.
Ps: Entertainments for kids are TV in our flat, giant chess around House 1-2, a playground in town, Bruni park (it's easier and cheaper to play Ski there than in Titlis Sport)...

We stayed in Engelberg at the Titlis Resort Wohnung #931 from June 9-16, 2015. We usually stay at the Schweizerhof Hotel, but we traveled to Engelberg meeting about 20 family and friends for a beautiful wedding on top of Fürenalp and wanted more room to spread out.

Our apartment had three bedrooms and two baths (one with a tub/shower and the other with a shower). The apartment was immaculate and well appointed. There was a large dining area and table, full kitchen with every amenity you could ever want, and a nice living area with a big TV. There were double doors leading to a balcony with another large table and also had an awning that could be easily extended over the entire balcony. We were on the third floor (yes, there is an elevator), and the unit backed up to the rushing water that flows through Engelberg. We kept the windows open and loved listening to the water.

The resort is across the street from Titlis cable car/Rotair which is great for all seasons! There is a free bus that picks up at the resort and delivers you to the train station, as well as Brunni cable car, and the Fürenalp cable car. It's an easy walk from the resort to town. We walked from and to the train station with luggage without issue.

Our family loves everything about Engelberg, so we will be back again and again!
