Beautifull hotel, excellent location from the balcony you are looking the lake and center of lucerne, breakfast buffett excellent many choices, only con hotel dont have A/C, front desk excellent staff.

Not at the Hotel, alas. Go to the TI at the Train station, but take the "visitor card" that the hotel gives you. TI sold us tickets up by cogwheel, down by gondola that were slightly less expensive (with the Visitor Card) than buying individual segments. The ticket worked very smoothly and we had a delightful day.
