Lovely hotel in beautiful village. All staff very friendly and helpful. Cakes are served in the afternoon in the bar which is run singlehanded by a very professional and efficient lady, well done. Restaurant is partially buffet, concentrating on small but excellent quality choices, waiting staff very friendly and efficient especially Manuel(?). There is a speciality restaurant Stubli 1868 (I...

This is my second trip with my Family to this Hotel for a ski trip and the recent visit was as good as the last. The Hotel is a clean and well maintained and the staff are all extremely helpful. The food is varied and enjoyable and the head Waiter is excellent and is really helpful. We have two young...

This is a great hotel. The rooms are spotless and the beds are very comfortable. The food is excellent, there is a good selection for the buffet breakfast and a four course dinner every night. In my opinion, the stainless steel swimming pool and hot tub make this hotel worthy of a four star rating! However, the best part of...

The staff are accommodating and do their very best to make you as comfortable and welcome as possible. Before I arrived, I contacted the hotel many times asking various questions, and they were always more than happy to help. Our room was spacious and clean. There's plenty of storage for two people including ski gear. My only gripe with the...

We went half-board for 5 nights over Christmas with our adult son. Both rooms were a good size, including a seat or sofa , with a balcony and a great view of the Eiger. Good location in the town centre next to one of the cable car stations. The food was really good - 5 or 6 courses included! We...

What a deal ! Halfboard - half price - and a room with a view too! We arrived unplanned and late afternoon and decided to stay over in Grindelwald. There were quite a few vacancies in a few hotels at very high prices. We drifted into Parkhotel Schoenegg and we instantly knew we were lucky. Not 5 star but very...

We stayed as a family for nearly 2 weeks. We have two small children and they have several family rooms which give you space (which for longer stay is a bonus). The hotel also has a small play room which the children loved. Food is great and the views are breathtaking. Very convenient to the ski bus and the station....

As repeat visitors to the hotel the welcome was as warm as ever. To wake up in the morning with a view of the Eiger is unforgettable. The food and service by the staff was excellent. Never disappointed with exploring the area and finding new and exciting places to visit. Already looking forward to our next visit.

This is not the most plush place we've stayed at in Grindelwald BUT it is very adequate, relaxing, well equipped, and friendly. We did notice on our entry to Grindelwald that the Grand Regina hotel (5star) has now closed down and is empty. Anyway, the Parkhotel Schonegg is right across the street from the 4star Sunstar hotel (another place we've...

We stayed in Parkhotel Shoenegg for 8 nights in early September. Before deciding on a hotel, I've emailed 7 hotels in Grindelwald, and the reply from Shoenegg seemed the most personal and welcoming. We were not disappointed. Hotel provides shuttle to and from the train station to help with the luggage. The room was clean, well appointed, and modern. Despite...
