My wife and I spent five nights at one of the newly remodeled rooms with a balcony that offered an exquisite view to the mountains! Connie and Beni were awesome and helpful in every aspect, not to mention that Beni is a professional paraglider if you want to take to the skies, like I did, for a thrilling tandem flight...

We had booked our Superior Double Room with Balcony through Booking.com but we were disappointed that we had a side room which had stunning views but was a smaller balcony/and also did not view the North Face of the Eiger. It was strange as although there were other visitors we could not see that all the rooms on the front...

Very nice hotel and quiet. Since I visit Grindelwald for many years, it is the second year I booked a room at this hotel and despite the fact that it is located a little bit away from the center, it offers a good price/quality rate. Breakfast has a wide choice (nice Grindelwalder Alpkäse). Staff is very nice.

Our room was perfect for three of us. We had a balcony with the most beautiful view of the mountains. The hotel staff was really great and the breakfast (included) was exceptional. Within walking distance to town.

Just loved the whole approach of the attentive , sporty , owners. Relaxed but with own style of decor and management, miles away from a " euro hotel. " Picked us up from the station; nice on our first night, courtesy bus to town also available, though we enjoyed the walk. Plentiful local advice and even some gear that can...

We booked a superior double room with balcony 3-4 months in advance and had asked for an Eiger mountain facing room. Upon arrival we were given a room with 2 single beds pushed together and a bunk bed. The room faced another building and was on a lower level and just had a little patio, and you had to stand...

We were so glad we chose this hotel. Away from the hustle and bustle of the town, but close enough to walk in for dinner. Amazing views, well set up with an outside space to sit out and have a drink if you so desire. I loved the small things that the owners have done to give the place some...

The hotel booklet makes it clear that the management is not trying to please everyone. In this it succeeds. It is, in short, quite funky and alternative, at least by my lights, with its strangely angled beds, its glass fronted bathrooms and its various organic teas, jams and honeys for sale. The pluses are a very good breakfast, overall quiet...

My wife and I were travelling to a family wedding in Tuscany so decided to make a holiday by staying three nights in Grindalwald and two nights in lecco on Lake Como. Hotel Lauberhorn was lovely, the view from our balcony was amazing, the air was so pure and colours so true. The hotel is quaint it is simple but...
